Nice to see this back and am gladdened by the turn of events.

I feel like I should hate this turn of events but for some reason I don't.

Does this mean Gunny comes along into whichever game they play next? Err... assuming that's what they do.
Can you imagine Gunny joining in play on a harvest moon alike?

So do dead video game characters just manifest into Eri mind now?

Also yeah, having a Master Chief/ action hero invading your space is going to be super awkward!

IDK how anyone is surprised by this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comicsandcosplay/comics/erin-dies-alone/14617-Chapter-4-1]. Did everyone forget this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comicsandcosplay/comics/erin-dies-alone/13623-Erin-Dies-Alone-005]?

Harvest Moon.
But I still say we should ring the potato patch with seismic mines. Those moles won't know what hit 'em,

Dead Rising.
Are these zombies supposed to be scary, they can't even bite through my armor Whilst trudging through a sea of zombies glomped to him nonchalantly.

World of Warcraft.
Why do we have to do this for ten hours to get past that guy? Look I'll show you how... Shoves shotgun into Boss' face, the quest continues.
I'd kind of like to watch Gunny try and deal with the philosophical ramblings about war that come with a Metal Gear title... "Gunny? Do you thank that love can bloom? Even on the battlefield?"

Judging from the proto pictures you guys had at the beginning, I'm not really surprised at this, but I am nevertheless excited to see him alive, well, and ready to be Rad's role model and utterly despise how fucking twee the magical pixie princess land is inevitably going to be.

Doesn't this undermine the presumed emotional punch of the preceding strip?
There isnt anything that cant or wont be sacrificed upon the Altar of Comedy.
I don't think these guys can decide between drama or comedy.
Why can't they decide on both?

They can and they did, I just think they do themselves a disservice in doing so. In the end they've concocted this weird half-assed drama that is constantly cut down by Critical Miss's LOL factor kicking in.

Sigh. Twenty-three comments and not a single "That's what SHE said!"? Escapists, I am disappoint.
You think you're disappointed?

I've been waiting to see an "OP, There goes gravity!" this entire thread when I read the comic title. It's been a full day and I haven't seen it ONCE. What the hell, Escapist community?

--------------------

In other news, I was apparently so disappointed that EDA would be taking a break that I completely skimmed over Grey saying it would just be a week. I was pleasantly surprised to see it up on the front page when I visited the site.

Also, you guys said you would be George Lucasing the previous pages, but I read through some of my favorite pages yesterday and I didn't see that any changes. Then again, I don't exactly have photographic memory of what they looked like before so there are probably subtleties I haven't picked up on. Did you guys decide against the idea or are the changes so small that they're not worth mentioning?

And if it's the 2nd one... could you mention them anyway? I'm a sucker for this kinda stuff honestly.

Oh, there goes gravity

Oh wait... Unless the title's an obscure reference to Red Dwarf...

Other than that, Erin might need a new mail-order couch... in the future...

Now you're going to tell me that Erin DOESN'T die alone.

I like how Erin eats both pringles and bagged potato chips. Thats some serious snack-food dedication right there

...Didn't see that coming. Normally, I'd be annoyed that this part negates the last one... but eh, I'm strangely happy to see Gunny again...
