swords will break. Weapons will run out of ammo, or at least need to be reloaded. If you are facing one hundred thousand zombies (just one heavily populated city, of which this country has several) then killing an average of one zombie per second for 24 straight hours, you will still have almost fifteen thousands zed-heads coming after you. Even the most highly-trained soldiers on earth would be hard-pressed to spend twenty four consecutive hours in combat without respite.

In a true zombie *apocalypse* situation, the only realistic response which might succeed is either a well-prepared, well-executed offensive sweep. Any attempt at defense and the bodies will eventually pile too high for you to get clear shots, and therefore you have to wait until the "live" Z's are over the wall. Rinse and repeat that a few times, and the wall gets closer to your position until you're overwhelmed. Fall-back strategies could mitigate this, but success ultimately relies on you having enough retreating space, and a way to keep that space clear.

A properly executed sweep would sequentially create fresh territory for the dead bodies to be piled in. Regular clean-ups would follow in the wake, and defensive checkpoints would periodically be left behind to monitor other points of entry. Perform the sweep along the coastline, so that expedient naval retreat is always an option. Don't try to hold ground, because only complete annihilation of the enemy to every last man will win the day. Simply perform the sweep, pull back to the ships, bait a fresh batch of Zack, and sweep it again. A temporary off-shore agricultural ecosystem and wartime economy must be maintained until enemy numbers are depleted enough to begin holding the mainland.

An ACU from Supreme Commander.

Or if i somehow can't get one of those, i'll make due with and AKM and a GP-34 on it.
Obviously the Cybran one with the sweeping laser will kick ass. However, when all else fails, use the combine harvester with an engine upgrade that makes it fast enough to mow down a horde in seconds.

You know, i wasn't exactly planning to rely on the ACU's integrated weapons. Rather, i'd take adventage of the fact that it's good at building enormous armies.

That works too, they're robots so the zombies can't eat them unless they have an army of zombie crocidiles.

I'm gonna have to go for Metal Gear Rex.. I'd say the much more practical Metal Gear Ray, but you can't beat a classic. I always liked Rex better, despite in this situation, Ray holding the uppe rhand due to its amphibious nature

I would say a Chainsword, but that would need gasoline. No, According to Max Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide, the best weapon is the Shaolin Spade. This is it:

With its 6-foot range, and steel blades, it would make it a formidable weapon against the iconic slow-as-shit zombie. However, as a backup weapon, perhaps a smaller, cooler weapon. The Emei Piercers.

These are double-tipped daggers attatched to rings that allow them to spin. So, yup. I might go with a compound bow, as its ammo can be made out of wood, so it'll be a while until you actually run out. So, there you go.

Zombies have to be shot in the head, so it's best to take something with good accuracy, good stopping power, and fast rate of fire but not to fast since every shot has to be aimed. Bolt-action rifles have great accuracy and stopping power but slow rate of fire, pistols are too weak, and assault rifles are too fast (they can be switched to semi-auto but the temptation of full auto fire and wasting ammo remains). Best choice would be a self-loading (semi-automatic) rifle. The Zombie Survival Guide suggests the M1 Carbine. The Ruger Mini-14 is also a very good choice, but unfortunately, where I live those rifles are hard to come by, so I would take this:

No doubt all the zombie nonsense is so old and childish anyone that mentions stupid stuff like this should be banned from life.

OK, so i'm not aloud to get their blood on me. if they sneak up behind me i'm screwed. they like large noises. setting them on fire isn't always a good idea. they probably outnumber me 999,999,999 to 1 soooo... (Cyanide sounds like a good option right now) but probably a Lightsaber or Cloud Strife's Broadsword. A portal gun sounds like a good idea as well.

Zombies dont see. They have a sixth sense.
I'd go with a solar powared laser tank of deathly laser doom. Can't run out of solar power and lasers can cut massive swaths through zombies. Either that or some tank that turns dead zombies into fuel for a bunch of flamethroughers. It also needs extending arms to make raiding supermakets for food easier.

That'll be Albert Wesker then. Post injection of course.
