I love this movie. Seriously I watch it all the time, and I always get shit for being "MR. HEAVY METAL!!" but loving this romantic comedy. I also really like 50 First Dates, When Harry Met Sally, and really just most romantic comedies. Is that weird?

I read Ctrl-alt-delete for the love story. Don't feel bad, its just that you're more in touch with your emotions.

Love the movie, chick flicks are great, but I'm a girl so I guess that is expected. However I think it's great that there are guys out there who will watch a movie that doesn't have anything blowing up in it :)

Yeah I loved it when Ethan and Lilah first met. It was very sweet. Why don't things like that happen to me?! :'(

I'm a sucker for classic Disney films like Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. Don't ever ask me to sing any Disney song cause I won't stop.

Nope, not odd at all. Also, try Marley and Me. You should like it if romantic comedies are your thing.

I like the movie Love Actually AND death metal, so you're not alone. I watched the part where the guy is at the door with cue cards with a girl that I was in a very similar situation with -- it was horrifying.

I'm also a girl and I totally agree with you 100%. I don't watch many chick flicks myself but I totally agree. It's nice knowing that there are still some guys out there that will watch them and it blows my mind when I find some that actually enjoy those movies. I almost do a double take over that. I've heard several guys say "I love 10 Things I Hate About You" and I'm like "Please repeat that?"

Just yesterday, I saw 17 Again with my girlfriend.
I loved it. Glad to see there can be a "touching" story I can enjoy.
Glad we didn't go to see "Haunting of Connecticut", like we originally planned.

It was ok. It wasn't as good as Twilight./sarcasm. But I did like The Notebook (damn gf) and 13 going on 30.

I first saw it on a trans-Atlantic flight from Houston to London. It's a well made movie and a pretty good retelling of Taming the Shrew.

13 going on 30 is really fun, similar to 17 again just in reverse (I just saw 17 again and loved it, so I'm recommending it to others!)

I'm sort of in the middle on this subject. I like "touching" movies, but hate ones with too much of an emphasis on romance. I loved "The Pursuit of Happyness." I've never seen "10 Things I Hate About You," "17 Again," or "The Notebook," so I don't know if those fall too far on the romantic side of the spectrum.
