Alapha Centauri

A civlization clone that is so very fun to play. If only I could find a store selling its expansion pack :(

edit: also Tales of Symphonia... Almost forgot about it, until I looked at my avatar!

Can you see the awesome?
Both intro videos
Giant robots blowing shit up.
huge customization
Online play
Good soundtrack
Interesting story
Great setting
Good learning curve
Funny characters (the chips have random personalities, and are worth trying to play through the story interactions with the different personalities. The elitist one is particularly funny)
GIANT ROBOTS BLOWING SHIT UP
Yeah, I'm a fan. There are others, but this is just so much FUN!

I'd recommend Psychonauts, because it should be known about. Amusing and interesting.

I throw Mother 3 into the ring!
I second this, because, first and foremost, it is Mother 3.

One day it shall be self-explanatory globally, and this comment shall be vindicated.
Psychonauts ftw!

Battlefield 2142. No FPS is better than that. Not BC2 Not even RDR or TF2.

64 players, on the Sidi Power Plant or Verdun map, Titan Mode, or Conquest in Berlin or Camp Gibraltar, and I'm good. Forever.

Pokemon Colosseum and XD.
I second Colosseum. I feel like it was one of the first games to allow interconnectivity between two different consoles (the GBA and the N64) and do it WELL. I'm sure there are some others that might have tried to do it before, but Colosseum is arguably one of the best early versions of such thing. Also, the fact that uploading Pokemon and battling them wasn't the only thing you could do made it amazing also. With them adding all of the mini games and including Pokemon for you to rent in the game really helped make it a stand alone game, rather than just an accessory (I'm looking at YOU, Pokemon Box).

And for my game I'll offer up Wrath of the Black Manta for the NES. What other game lets you play a purple ninja who needs to find his sensi's best student that's been kidnapped, apparently had enough time to write a note and tell you who took him, single handedly win the war on drugs, fly a kite, and beat a final boss with a Tiki head and Hawaiian tattoos?
