Where the hell have you been? This thing has had the most hardcore online/viral advertising I've ever seen.Macksheath said:I had never even heard a hint of advertising until 2 days before it came out. How the feck did it break all those records?
Especially the Dark Knight, and that was so overhyped you could almost smell the popcorn on the streets.
Microsoft still holds that record.Asehujiko said:They also broke the record for shitty customer treatment and support.
MW3 will sell very well. This I assure you. Whether its good or not is unkown, but it WILl sell quite well.Renoozo said:I'm not tired of hearing about MW2, I love it. But MW3 will be a hard act to follow with all the records in place - wonder if they'll quit the MW series while their ahead, most likely giving their accountants a heart attack.

If I hear anything about MW2 a few more times, I run the risk of participating in a live action airport scene.
also who thought of PLASTIC protecting you against BULLETS................
If modern capitalistic views and advertisement has taught us anything it is this, you milk everything for what it is worth and when there is but a small trickle of money left you beat the thing senseless with a stick until you get every last cent possible.Renoozo said:I'm not tired of hearing about MW2, I love it. Yeah, or just about any company when you ask them to repair your TVEatbrainz said:Blizzard, for example.iamq said:Hardly, there are companies that are way worse.Asehujiko said:They also broke the record for shitty customer treatment and support.

At this point, I'm willing to let Suspension of Disbelief take over. Sure, it might not be entirely realistic, but neither is the rest of the game, and it serves a gameplay purpose.Kalezian said:a Riot shield is nothing more than hardened plastic, a true ballistic shield has several layers of Kevlar and/or steel plates woven into it. needless to say, I doubt a .50 rifle round couldn't punch through plastic of all things.akmarksman said:and fibers?..such as Kevlar and Nomex..Nomex is fire resistant..Kalezian said:beware of the part where the riot shield guys rush in, bastards can kill you dead.Tiamat666 said:I second that emotion.UNKNOWNINCOGNITO said:I have not yet played the game.

Yep, 130, my typo, sorry.Singularly Datarific said:
Except Final Fantasy comes up with new stories and worlds for most of their games. With the exception of the Ivalice Alliance series, the few FF7 spinoffs like Dirge of Cerberus (which isn't really an RPG anyway) and FFX-2, most every game could be treated as a standalone series, only connected to the other by the name Final Fantasy. Ah, there were the FF1-5 (or was it 6?) remakes on the GBA/DS as well, but those are remakes rather than extensions of the storyline, so I'm not sure if they count.akmarksman said:a page from the Final Fantasy handbook.gbemery said:If modern capitalistic views and advertisement has taught us anything it is this, you milk everything for what it is worth and when there is but a small trickle of money left you beat the thing senseless with a stick until you get every last cent possible.Renoozo said:I'm not tired of hearing about MW2, I love it.
