Ahhhh I still love how Gunny is always so perfectly angled so that the bottom line of his visor can be a stand-in for his mouth, thus giving a man whose expression we cannot see a surprising amount of expressive ability.

Can we also appreciate that Gunny shoved it up his sword while it also went through his palm... and he STILL crushed the shell.
It's nice to see a strip that shows how daft some of these "I wear Napoleonic clothing and have floor length hair" villains are becoming in some games.

it seems that gunny's realisation that the lives of his comrades mean more to him than objectives and protocols seem to also benefit his thinking as a fighter, able to use clever and pragmatic tactics as opposed to playin by the books. remember that this is the guy who launched himself into the enemy stronghold with a shotgun in his hand in order to demand negotiation with the enemy in the gunlord arc
Gunny should get SO MUCH XP from this fight.

Depending on the explosive, it's not always that easy to set them off, and for sure a shearing force from a sword wouldn't d o it. Gunny compressed the primer at the base which sets off the explosives. Not sure if compression like that would set off a primmer or if it's the percussive force that triggers the chemical reaction, but it's fantasy so oh wellRatGouf said:

You'll find that the visor line does indeed carry the "expression" one would assume he'd have considering his personality/what's being discussed/what's going on. It's a clever little art-trick that they're pulling off.
