My god! People have sex at 13! The outrage!

Seriously folks come on, it wasn't that much older (if indeed it even was older) when we started. These two just weren't particularly careful.
Exactly, they were dumb, very dumb, but that's not particularly a surprise. Otherwise, feh, could be worse, I had a girlfriend that was injecting speed by the time she was 11 and another that was smoking £20 worth of rocks a day by the time she was 13 [EDIT: In fact come to think of it, she statutory raped me...quick call the police OUTRAGE!!!!]. Now that is fucked up, but having sex? Yeah 12 (now 13) does raise an eyebrow, but if he was your average tracksuit wearing hooded chav stereotype instead of this baby faced little chap, would people be so upset?

BTW Cuddly, if it had been the 12th century, then 13 would have been absolutely fine. Age of consent was 13 until the mid 1800's.

Well, speaking of chavvy hoodies, its taken all of a day to go from pictures of him kissing and holding the new baby, to this:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2250059.ece

A charming new hoodie with the words 'I'm the daddy, if not F*** you all'

So it appears he is the hooded chav stereotype, just a younger looking one than usual, and it appears his dad is seeing how much cash he can milk from the situation, which is all rather lovely. There's a possibility he's trying to provide for his kid in the only way he knows how, but I can't help but think he'll be making sure he takes a sizable cut of any cash sent his son's way.

I'm reminded of a reminiscince on a TV show. a guy talking about a girl at school who got pregnant young. 'So who's the father?' 'Well, mate, you eat a can of beans you don't know which one made you fart'.

So there's an obesity epidimic among the kids, and there's this, surely with this much fucking going on they should be shifting a few pounds?

On the bright side, and these tales need one, the reason this is news is that its not a common occurence. The same reason knife and gun crime and murder and rape are all front page news stories. If we were losing a few hundred people a day to murder, they wouldn't warrant a news story.

I want to tattoo "TRAP!" onto this mother's forehead and "FAIL" onto the father then a little "lol" onto the baby to remind the world of these terrible people and their utter suckishness

he is smart for being comitted, but to not use a condom, he is an idiot.

"What's financially", what an idiot.

although its not suprising, this thing happens a lot in the States, mostly in the South and inner-cities.

Funny thing is (well, it's not actually funny) a friend of mine had a baby when she was 17 with no idea who the father was (defintely not me :p) and so she stopped cramming her body full of class A's like the rest of us, dropped out of our social group for the most part and put a lot of effort into bringing up the child (little horror as he is [now 14...damn time flies]). She missed out on a lot of fun stuff, but then she also missed out on a lot of very bad shit. So at least there's one bit of anecdotal evidence that having kids at a young age can have a positive effect.

http://www.geekologie.com/2009/03/alfie_patten_you_arenot_the_fa.php

Apperently hes not the father after all...

A DNA test showed a 13-year-old boy in Britain is not the father of a baby born to a 15-year-old he had unprotected sex with once.

Chantelle Stedman told Alfie Patten, who was 12 when he slept with her, he was her newborn daughter Maisie's father.

At first Stedman said Patten was the only boy she had ever slept with, but soon after other teens came forward saying they too could be the baby's father, because they claimed to have had sex with the girl.

It is still not clear who the baby's father is.

Good. From the photos I saw and articles I have read on this issue the kid was not only pretty stupid "whats financially", but also a chav (see picture of hoody at the top of page). Add in the ridiculous amount of money his "loving" family were trying to get out of their sons alleged actions - well, lets just say that they don't deserve a child.

Recently, a 13 year old British boy became a father to his 15 year old girlfriends baby. I won't say too much because the article isn't long, so I'll leave it up to you to read about it. I just want to know, is this one of the worst things that society has done to it's youth?

http://tinyurl.com/cejoy6 <--FoxNews link

Also, I think that the child should be taken from them, mainly because of this:
"When asked how he is going to cope financially, Alfie replied, bemused, 'What's financially?'"

EDIT: Added FoxNews link
This reminds me when Iwas in High school. My best friend's sister got pregent by her "cousin" (was cousin by genetics, not by marriages. still trying to work that one out!) at 11. Had the kid at 12. 12!!! Middle School people! Her mom took the child away from her and raised her as a sister.

Yeah, the little girl had so many health issues, its not funny. And the 12 year old? Got knocked up at 16, thankfully not by a relative.

As for the story, the child should be taken away from the children. This isn't "play house." It can be raised by a relative.

I think people are evolving pretty quick, I just hope their minds have evolved quickly enough to cope with this...

If someone told the pants-on-head-retarded school system that practicing abstinence is not a viable means of protection, because kids are fucktards and will boink whatever has a hole, they would see reason and teach them stuff like this.
