Like with XCom, I'd pay to have a "re-mastered" version of Grim Fandango, with the latest graphics and sound. Gameplay never ages, but unfortunately, other things do.
The game still looks and sounds amazing. Remastering would improve nothing.

Shame on anyone who hasn't played this.

Thing is, earlier sophisticated adventures such as Broken Sword and Full Throttle were successful.

The game failed due to the genre itself being less favoured during the time and the rise of console gaming. I always said this game would've been far more successful had it been on the PSX.

P.S. welcome to the forums.

I actually joined this forum just to post in this thread.
Love your Avatar. One of the best covers.

I did see once that someone edited the game into a movie that cuts out a lot of the gameplay and makes it more narrative driven. http://www.letsplayarchive.com/

I wouldn't suggest watching it unless you absolutely don't want to play it. Otherwise it's worth a look while your having some tea and toast.

Love Grim Fandango! This game is actually the reason I love Amazon's "other people bought this" option. It popped up after I bought Fallout 1&2 ten years ago. And for only $10 at that! Best suggestion evar!

What an awesome website! I never knew such a thing existed. Now I can go back and relive Gabriel Knight without having to dust off my old PC. Thanks for posting this.
