Bought a cigar, and some cigarettes, and a couple scratch-off lottery tickets. I believe I went out to Lonestar for some steak and then smoked the cigar on the ride home. Won 20 bucks on the Lottery tickets, so... all-in-all not bad.

I had a choice: hang out with my friends and get hammered legally for the first time, or... go see this play I really wanted to see.

I chose the latter! Went to the National Theatre in London with my girlfriend, saw the play (really funny, had a good time, can't remember the name at the moment though...) and, when I ordered my first drink, the bartender was a really nice guy; I couldn't decide on whether a glass of port or a glass of sherry. I told him to surprise me!

I came out in the interval, found a glass with my name, and there were two glasses with both drinks, only charged for one, and the words "Happy Birthday" written on the napkin!

Nice guy! I wonder if I will ever get to thank him...

wait, wait, wait. you can watch a 3D movie without the stupid glasses? the last movie i watched in 3D was Avatar (didn't like it) and i had to wear them over my "seeing" glasses.

OT: i am not 18 yet, so i cant say much about my 18th birthday, but i reckon ill just stay home and surf the net.

I meant the glasses used to be one red and one blue, now they look like sunglasses. I thought it might alter the experience, which it did.

I remember everything becoming boring. Sneaking into pubs for beer or watching 18 movies in the cinema becomes less fun when you are legally allowed to do it. Adult hood and thus less fun. Im 35, think i just went for a drink with friends from work.

I got a tattoo and then went to an anime con. I go to the anime con every year and it just happens to fall on my birthday the past 3 years so it wasn't special for my 18th but still tons of fun.

All I am doing is staying at home with family, watch the rest of Charlotte's Web (1973) and relax. So what did all of you who are 18 and older do on yours?

I hanged out with some friends at my house. Didn't do anything crazy though.

I spent a week in Wales with my parents and a friend. It was brilliant.

It was situated between two other friends' 18ths and a huge festival of alcoholism we have where I live, so I didn't bother with anything too big. Went for a chinese with a few friends, with which I purchased alcohol yay, then went back to my house for a few drinks and a film. Good times.

I did absolutely nothing. Well, dinner with family and my girlfriend, and some quality time with said girlfriend later on, but nothing overly spectacular.
