When I turned eighteen, I had a Renaissance themed get-together at my house where everybody dressed up. We had an executioner, a barbarian, knights templar, a bard, ladies, wenches. All we were lacking was an actual keg and full pig's head.
Goddamnit.
Then my cousin took me out for cocktails and Mexican food a few days after. It was lovely.
Edit: Couldn't help but nottice a lot of people mentioning that they purchased lottery tickets. Here we can do that from age 16 but I'm not sure about everyone else.

On my 18th I went to my college initiation thing before getting my first tattoo. Went from being nervous to having lots of fun to being in pain for like 2 hours. One of my most memorable birthdays. A lot better than the year before when I had to go to my grandma's funeral
Not much. Went out for a meal with the family, then went out to a pub with mates and got shitfaced.
Did all the things you are supposed to - watched 18-rated films, smoked...
Plus I'm from England - so legally drank myself stupid.

Mine was 2 days ago; I went to the driving range with my brothers and played Mass Effect 3 multiplayer all night.
It was horrible.I fired two great employes due to financial dificulties, totally went over budget, missed all the deadlines, rushed out a game with a shitload of bugs!It was a nightmare!Then the morning sun rose up blinding me for a couple of seconds, at which point i realised that i had to go to college, so i quitted Gamedev Story.
Absolutely screw-all. I had a pizza, and played games. Something school-related was also probably involved too. I think. I honestly don't remember anything else beyond that. As you can tell, it really changed my life...
Went pub with my family and they naturally got me very pissed.... Then when my youngest friend (I'm the oldest) got to 18 we all had a massive blow out down the local night club.
For my 21st I spent the day throwing up from a particularly nasty food poisoning... can't win em all...

well my mother had just gotten home from what was her 8th trip to the looney bin by that stage, and we ( as in me ) had just paid off a $900 phone bill she had racked up while on her looney trip.. so yeah not much cash to do anything.
I remember getting some JD and coke and drinking with my friends around that time, but not sure if that was actually my Bday or not ( 34 now so going back a bit ) pretty much killed bdays for me. My wife tries to get me back into them but they are just another day really. Oh and last year for my bday we had a bit of nostalgia trip with mother making yet another trip to the looney bin. funny how she nearly always trips out around my bday...

Well, I turned 17 a few days ago. I went to school. That was about it. Yesterday though, I had my birthday party. Hooked up 2 old Xboxes and played old games with a bunch of people. Fun times. Bought a new camera. Some games. About it really.
