I got 2 18ths. One with my dad whre we went on a pub crawl in his town, down in the midlands urgh, southerners. Then when i came home all my mates took me out round redcar and we got wasted and ended up in a strip club. It was great fun except for the srip club, i don't really see the point, especially when the strippers are ugly.
Most of the other 18th birthday parties i have been to have been house parties, but no one hase ended the night in a pile of their own vom. A few people woke up with each other which was kind of awkward for them but really funny for the rest of us

I cannot remember my 18th birthday. It started at my kitchen table, and 24 hours later, I woke up in a house I had never been to before. I remember trying to climb a street light, arguing with a bartender over the strength of a drink, and unwittingly grinding against an already happy and dancing couple. All in all, Ive tried to repeat those events every weekend, with varying degrees of success.

Big party out in our house in Sotte Grande; about 300 people, not including gatecrashers (loads of friendly expats rolled up, etc). All outside, 12 hours, theme was "Out of Africa" just for the laughs.

I didn't really have the likes of a huge massive 18th party where everyone gets drunk and ends up sleeping on the floor in piles of their own vomit, like you see on MTV and so on.

I don't know, I can sort of see the appeal. For example, for my 18th I had a party with 30 or so people where I got a bit drunk, but then I had a party with 5 or so people afterwards where I got REEALLY drunk. Probably because I could trust those people not to upload videos of me boozed... sadly, I was wrong.

For my 18th, I spent the night in the hospital after a cop didn't pay attention to right of way and creamed me with his cruiser. So yeah, I was unconcious for mine. But the department settled out of court for an onsane payout, so happy birthday to me.
