Question of the Day, November 30, 2010

Disney Epic Mickey is out on shelves tomorrow here in North America. Are you planning on getting Junction Point's rebirth of the world's most famous cartoon mouse?

I'll wait for the reviews. Even if this thing sweeps up perfect 10's I'm still going to wait until there's a price drop.

I'm really not interested at the moment, as I smell a quick price drop. As befits all good Wii games that aren't labeled with Nintendo.

No More Heroes 2 was $20 a few weeks after launch, and Brawl's mediocre ass is still $50?

I thought it was out already...

Ah well. Still, I don't particularly like my Wii, so I doubt I'll pay 100 AUD just to find some use for it.

Also, I'm in Australia. So it isn't out here...

Looked better when it was still in development with the dark steampunk concept art. Not as interested anymore.

I've been waiting for this game since the day it was announced, but the reviews so far haven't been terribly positive, and the competition is high. So I'll be playing Golden Sun (fuck yes, no negative review can keep me away from this one) and Donkey Kong this month. Epic Mickey seems like a game that'll be much cheaper in a few months, so I'll remember this one in the summer period.

Want but can't afford (as it would require buying a wii as well and I just can't justify that).

Getting it as soon as there's a price drop. I'm really interested. All I care is that it's by Warren Spector. That's really all I need to know this game is well worth playing.

Not interested at all and I don't have a Wii. Two good enough reasons.

A game built around Disney's more obscure characters...in which the gameplay looks to be a combination of platformer, adventure, and RPG...designed by Warren Spector? Yes please!

Looks fun, interesting world. I agree the older concepts of the steampunk goofy looks very promising. Epic Mickey and DKC returns are on my list of things to get and right near the top after some important music recording purchases
