Oh 4chan, where I spent two mindboggling years. Good times, good times.

The fact that mootikins won is not really surprising. It is the internet, after all, where Anonymous lives.

And for those of you who haven't visited 4chan, but are interested, check out /co/, which is the comics and cartoons board. Probably the friendliest SFW board there. And contrary to belief /b/ isn't the most vicious board. /ic/, or Art Critique is.

Just for correction, a lot of the old memes did not originate on 4chan. In fact they were just rapidly spread there, and that's where most people learn them. 4chan doesn't exactly come up with it's own memes all that often, and most are just forced memes that die within the month.

I can't say I didn't see this coming, considering I've been following the poll ever since I heard Moot was on it. TBH, though unintentionally, by creating 4-Chan, Moot has in fact influenced the masses indirectly.
