Elfen Lied (the anime seems to end when it's only at half of the real story, so i suggest you read the manga. Has a great ending.)

1. Ouran High School Host Club (just cause its so extravagent it makes me laugh)
2. Lovely Complex (a romcom if ever i saw one. Couma Curry Lol)
3. Black Lagoon. ( a bit repetitive but good if you like kick ass heroines)
4. Chobits (first ever anime I watched so it will always hold a special place in my heart)
5. Zombie Loan (cause who can resist zombies??)

A few people listed Ouran High School. I gave it a chance since everyone recommended it to me after watching Lucky Star. I'm 12 episodes in and I still can't get into it. I know its suppose to make fun of shoujo material, but it feels poorly execute. It seems like the creator is trying too hard and he's trying to smash all his ideas directly into your face. Oh well, everyone has their own taste.

"monster" is very good. its a detective story with very good pacing and intruging mystery. not so much likable characters as they are just intruging to watch but thats just part of the fun.

you seem to like the psychological side of anime in that case you'll not be disapointed with "monster".

thats the one about the cute angel of death that kills the main character multiple times every episode right? the show with the pedophile undertones more so than any other anime?

the first couple of season were pretty damn funny but i think they ran out of idea's and the concept just ended up repeating itself so i stopped watching.
