I have way more problems with humans with two-handed swords, who can instakill me with one blow. That doesn't seem right. Based on my experience, that one Bandid near Riften, posing as an Imperial soldier, should be a bigger threat to the Empire than the dragons...
I've had some REALLY amusing encounters with the dragons in Skyrim. Shenanigans include:
My horse tanking the dragon while I shot it to death with a bow. This is before I realized that dragons are putzes so I kept shooting them instead of pouncing on them when I had the chance.
Killing dragons THREE TIMES in the courtyard at the Mages' College. Seriously. That place is like a dragon magnet. It is FESTOONED with dragon skeletons now.
A dragon I was trying to kill flew off and randomly assaulted goats, wolves, and helpless bunny rabbits that were like, 5 miles away. I had to chase the sucker for like 15 minutes before a sabre cat finally took it down for me.
During one of my dragon kills at the mage's college, all the elderly, grouchy, infirm mages emerged from the college due to it being lunchtime or similar. Apparently they'd just used up all of their mana practicing, because they proceeded to start vigorously PUNCHING the dragon with their BARE HANDS.
Getting a quest to go kill a dragon at (named site), and encountering not one, but TWO dragons ON THE WAY THERE, both of which I thought were the Official Dragon until killing them failed to complete the quest.
Oh Skyrim, you so silly.
