Shocking people in the balls until they caught fire.
Ahh, good old juvenile me and S.F.
XD

Also:
I'd probably drop 'Knuckles' and replace it with E.V.O.: Search for Eden.
SUCH an underrated game.

Weak list. 'The 90s' is a pretty big field. Should've gone with "The 90s: 8 SNES games", or "The 90s: 8 horror games", or something like that.

hollly hell, I'll wholeheartedly agree about parasite eve. amazingly fun game once you get into the story. the sequels weren't that bad, 2 being more resident evil-ish and 3rd birthday being a complete divergance from the series ^^;; soo...okay maybe they are a bit that bad XD but still. the original, can't be beat for awesome ^^

The only one of those I've played is Vectorman. It was on one of the Sonic Mega Collections I think.

The only game on that list I've played is Parasite Eve - which is an incredible RPG.

I always wanted to play Knuckles Chaotix but I could never find a copy. Ah well.

Haven't heard of half of these, and I loved the 90s library. Those were the days where just hearing the music made me want try them out. Though I wouldn't pick Knuckles Choatix since it becomes very repetitive very quick.

I'm a little sad to see the lack of the Illusion of Gaia on the list, but such a small list for a wide range of games I guess I can understand. Plus it's pseudo-sequel, Terranigma, was on the list instead, so I guess I can give it a break.

But yah, Terranigma AND Actraiser on one list is pretty impressive. Glad to see some less-then-known classic SNES titles on a list somewhere.

Its weird to think there are people who play StarCraft 2 who havnt played or even heard of Dune 2. I guess that's what happens when your an old fart... It was nice to be part of the start of it all but I do prefer the graphics and games of today. Looking back its amazing how much detail your brained filled in, little pixels that were highly detailed, but only in your imagination lol.

Comparing Dune 2 - the title that invented the RTS as we know it - to Civ might be the single most ignorant thing I've ever seen on this website.

Well - as I had an Amiga 500, my list would look something like:

Lemmings
Cannon Fodder
UFO: Enemy Unknown
Secret of Monkey Island
Dune/Dune II
Civilization
Frontier: Elite II
Eye of the Beholder/Eye of the Beholder II

Dune 2 was alright I guess, I remember loving the multiple endings concept though I never managed to get the "true" ending. The less said about the rest the better tbh.

I think my list would have gone (in no order of favouritism):

1. Suikoden
2. Dungeon Keeper
3. Sanitarium
4. Colonization
5. Baldurs Gate
6. Discworld
7. Monkey Island
8. Half Life

Star Control 2? Heroes of Might and Magic 2? Both have modern remakes you can play, even on Windows 8 (Free Heroes 2 runs on Android too!)

I got the feeling they were going for games that had a more limited circulation. People always talk about Torment and the like. I very rarely see somebody mention Actraiser. It's not a bad list of good games that do not get a lot of conversations.

More Sega games. You can never get enough of old Sega classics, from the times when the company had a goddamn brain.
