8 Hours of my life I will never get back...

the other day i stayed up till like 4 or 5 in the morning playing.... um.... a....mmorpg. I just didnt feel sleepy so i just stay on line doing stuff.

thats about as close to an all nighter ive gotten.

Nostalgia: When I was a young boy, two friends and myself spent the night playing Ratchet and Clank (The first one) my friends fell asleep but I styed awake and by morning I had beaten the final boss. My first all nighter. I then passed out on the bed. An experience I'll never forget.

Actually reading that just reminded me of my first all nighter heh heh. Must have been about 11 or 12 and had been to a friends party with about 5 other people. Me and one of the other guys stayed up all night playing Age of Empires 2. Completely forgot about that untill just now!

One night we all decided to play a quick round of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 after close (less children, so we can swear like sailors). By the time we were satisfied it started getting light outside. Never have 7 hours gone so fast in my life.

I regularly sleep over at my friend's house, and I bring my xbox because he has a 55 inch flat screen TV and I have a half broken Magnavox CRT. If one of us falls asleep, the other will inevitably stay up all night playing games. I've done so with Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, both Mass Effects, Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood, Borderlands, Halo Reach and Bad Company 2 online, and many more.

Don't know if it should count...But a lot of the VN's I play have forced me to that as i really want to finish them. If they don't count... Mass Effect 2. Escpecialy on Insane difficulty on the Suicide Mission on my first run. It was fucking hard. But i was determined to finish it before dawn. And i did.

Hmm maybe not such a good idea I pick that one up then! Been meaning to ever since I played the demo however long ago it was that it came out. Really enjoyed it at the time.

8 hours was the magic number for many of my nights, when i played GTA 4 free mode online.

the game overall, disappointed me. i gave up on the single player at like 16% or so, and the only multiplayer mode i enjoyed was free mode. crazy fun with the right people

I don't think I've ever actual pulled an all-nighter, but I did once pull off an entire all-day playthrough with Morrowind. I played it for 15 hours non-stop, only stopping for bathroom breaks and food.

TF2 did this to me from like 8:00pm - 9:00am. nonstop only stopped for one bathroom break and a glass of water.
