9 is am upcoming CGI movie being produced by the, in my opinion, genius Tim Burton. The movie's plot sounds dreadfully stupid on paper, but judging from the trailer, is extremely well executed.

Honestly, my only thought was that this looked like the back story to Little Big Planet. That or Sack Boy: The Movie, which would be awesome.

i know im totally raping the face of this wonderfull post...im pretty excited to see it but tim burton really had nothing to do with this movie except give money and everyone knows any animated movie that says tim burton is the producer on the side will sell.

This trailer looked like a combination of fallout 3 and Little Big Planeet. If only the makers of LBP had used some burtonesque art direction. I like Burton's style and the trailer was nicely paced with good music... But its the director of Wanted..

Uh, guys, I think Tim Burton is just producing 9, not actually directing it/making it. The guy that that made the original short is directing it, I think.

Okay, look, something that needs to be cleared up: Tim Burton is not directing, he is producing. That is true. What is not true is the assumption that this means he has no say over what happens. Because he's the one giving them the money, he gets to say "Make this change or I won't give you my money any more." That's not to say that it will be a Tim Burton movie, just that it will have a Tim Burton influence in terms of creative decisions. In terms of actual execution and the like, that is left up to the director.

Whom I am given to understand (correct me if I am wrong) is the same person who directed Wanted, which I have yet to see, but certainly seemed interesting. I get the impression from the people who didn't like it that it was more of a scripting/acting fail than a directing fail. So this should be a good ride, with any luck. As I said on my Facebook: Tim Burton + Coheed & Cambria + Director from Wanted = AWESOME!!(?)

I saw the trailer in theatres, pure confusion throughout. Then I saw it was made by Tim Burton... I was no longer confused.
