Wow, congratulations!!! =D

Hm, I've always liked the name Evelyn, because I think Evie is a really cute nickname!
.. and she can grow up to fall in love with a deranged lunatic freedom fighter who likes to detonate buildings to music...

I'm not even being sarcastic there, I want to see V for Vendetta happen in reality because of his child's existance!!

I know this seems a bit irrelevant, but sharon went into labour at 8:29pm last night, and seven hours later gave birth to an absolutely beautiful and healthy baby girl, who I swear has her mothers unique reddish eyes, my brothers great grin and my hair. For all this I love her more than words can say. Im sitting with sharon in the hospital, writing this on my laptop (Im actually a bit surprised the hospital had public broadband) and looking down on both of them, asleep.

We still havent decided on a name yet. I was thinking about Sharon, after her mother, what do you guys think?

Lazor beamz!

And congrats!

Yay! Congrats! I am doing a delivery rotation in a women's hospital at the moment and I *loooooove* the little ones. I've always been fond of the names Jess, Claire, Michelle and Ashe; but they're all a little... too normal I guess.

As almost everyone else has said, congratulations on fatherhood! I'd go with Claire or Erica (Erika?), but I'm sure your wife has other ideas. Going with them is a safe bet.

Congratulations Dylan and Sharon!

I'm not much into naming a baby after her mother or father and suffixing it with "Junior". If you want to keep the name in the family circle then name her after her grandmother for instance. My vote goes to Eleanor.

Awesome, good for you man. A baby! In my opinion and don't consider it if you don't want to, you should give your baby a name that makes her an individual.

This seems like a great use of my 300th post.

Congratulations to you both.

No ideas on a name, besides don't make her regret it (Shaquequa or Moon-unit are not names, that's child abuse)

Whatever sounds good but avoid her having the same initals as one of her parents because its really inconvinient

Congrats :D Theres alot of good news going around lately. I think Jess or Jessica is a brilliant name and i'm not biased at all
_>
edit: also naming children after parents is a bad idea, when letters come through the door with only the initals of the first name and last name it gets confusing. Oh and i like the name Danica :) its my best friends name pronounced dan and ica like the end of jessica. Some people pronounce it oddly.

...and yeah, you should name her Sparrow. Because, y'know. SUCH a cool name and all.

Congratulations!

I've always thought Rachel was a good name. You could always go with Taneya. I've never met anyone else with that name.

*screams in a high-pitch of joy*

Personally, I like Daisy or Otha.
Or Alia. I really like Alia.
Yay, old-fashioned names!
