A Complete Game

Hey my fellow Escapees! (tl;dr to bottom paragraph)

No this is not somekind of rant concerning games being released with content cut away from them, just to rob us from our hard earned money. This is something different.
I actually am in need of some help.

Lately, I have noticed I have quite of bit of spare time on my hands and I need somekind of game that is or has: Immersive, Interesting, Replay-value, Costumization, Open world but a little bit guided as well, Cheap.
Now, I'm sure you'll all be yelling your own favorite game and I do not mind. But please be wary that I would like to see an argument or two, why I should consider your game.

RPG's are probably going to be the outcome, But I do not like to buy heavy amounts of Microsoft Points to download all the Extra Content. If possible I hope to find some 'special edition' that includes the game with all the extra content. You'd be my hero if you were able to find something like that!

TL;DR
-A Game to kill a SHITLOAD of time with for Xbox 360 or PC.
-Bring up some Arguments why I should consider your game.
-Preferably 'special editions' that Includes DLC. Do not fancy buying MP on 360.
-Average to High; Gametime/Money ratio.

Maybe STALKER, you can get the series pretty cheap now. If you like exploring and FPS games this is a good one. There's free downloads like the Complete packs that really polish the game up.

Incredably long RPGs?

The longest one I have is Dragon Age: Origins, easily 100 hours (if you do everything).

They also made an expasion pack you can buy in the store.

Why is it awesome?
-Hyper long story (about half the game time for me)
-It is made by Bioware (Yes, I am a fanboy, thank you for asking)
-It's a RPG
-Excessivly bloody (and takes a dark/gothic look)
-Great characters (none of them were shallow pricks nobody cares about)
-Different storyline depending on actions (overall the same, but cool ending that shows results of all your actions, they come up again in the expansion pack)

Yeah, that's all that comes to mind.
People will probably refute every one of those arguments because they didn't like it, but you asked for RPG reccomendation, and mine is Dragon Age: Origins.

Anything by Bethesda is a good bet, too, Oblivion wasn't as long though... (At least it didn't feel as long...)

oblivion has more to do in it actually then DAO, but the stuff you do isn't nearly as interesting. It's an example of horizontal design, whereas DAO is vertical design. Fallout 3 is a better choice then all 3, especially considering you can get it and all of its DLC for about 60 bucks these days (if you buy the DLC with MS points, it's about 60 bucks all by itself)

Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines.

Very fun and very cool take on the idea of vampires, based on the tabletop RPG. Great characters and awesome urban fantasy world.

For example. There are many different vampire clans, from the Gangrel (which are the equivalent of a Druidic vampire), to the Nosferatu who are vampires that are terribly deformed by their curse. My favourite? The Malkavian clan. They are vampires that are cursed with madness, using very whimsical and eccentric speech, not quite knowing where they are, they do have amazing insight however, but separating the crazy from the insight can by difficult. You know it's a good game when the Malkavians have conversations with a stop sign.

Malkavian: No, you stop!
Stop sign: ...
Malkavian: YOU STOP!
Stop sign: ...
Malkavian: You've made a powerful enemy this day, sign.

Games like MGS4 and Kingdom Hearts are what I consider to be complete.

When I literally can't think of a single thing I'd like to add, that game is complete or nigh perfect

I don't know if you like turn-based strategy much, but if you do, Civilization V will eat up every last bit of free time you ever get. That's just the way Civ works. It will consume you.
Basically, you're building your empire from the ground up. How you go about this is your choice; you can make nice with other world leaders and trade resources for your mutual benefits, or you can bide your time and wait for other nations to recognize your cultural superiority, or you can amass an army and take over the planet by force, or you can build a rocket and go into space, leaving the other nations behind to quibble over land as you travel through the stars. As customization and open world gameplay go, it really doesn't get much bigger.

That said, it's something of an acquired taste. If you're not familiar with it, Civ's gameplay can take awhile to get used to, and some players might be turned off by the slower, more methodical turn-based method of play. If you take the time to really sink your teeth into it, though, it can be extremely rewarding.

Also, bear in mind that everything I've just written applies to both Civilization V as well as its predecessor, Civilization IV. Civ IV and its various expansions are available through Steam, and might be a better jumping-on point than the very latest game in the series. Regardless, they both meet your criteria. These games will eat up your time.

Hmm... if you're into RPGs, get one or both of the Mass Effect Games.

- Rather long with much replay value
- Much DLC
- Not sure about the whole "money ratio" thing, so I'll just respond by saying that you'll get your money's worth for the game itself and for most of the DLC.

If you don't consider Fallout 3: Game of the Year edition just because I can't be bothered to write you a full review of it, that's your loss. It's exactly the kind of game you were asking for.

LoTRO went free to play recently, you could try that out. I don't think I need arguements for an MMO if you've played WoW, they reward you for putting time in, and have almost limitless re-play value. Apart from that, I'd argue Oblivion GOTY on PC, there's plenty of mods to keep you interested and a full blown expansion pack that's supposed to be really good. Although if you'd prefer Fallout I'd suggest that. I personally hate the combat in F3 but adore Oblivion's clusterfuck melee combat.
