Deckard Cain.

He will insist on choosing the place, and all the food there will be so incredibly weird that I need him to identify them for me.

Hey, I just saw you in the Forum games thread! And you made a funny Mass Effect reference! Methinks I like this one.

OT: I think it's more of a question of who I'd WANT to have dinner with. I think Mordin would be fun, if for no other reason than he's hilarious. And as you all know, he always sings the patter songs.

I wouldn't have bloody Rikku from FFX anywhere near my meals... fucking annoying *****! I can take a moody soldier with a steroid addiction anyday, but to listen to her whining...?

On that note, any of the other whiney stereotypes like that wouldn't be welcome... but she is tho only character that has made me cringe everytime she opens her goddamn mouth!!

On the flip side... any of those characters who like to eat food found in bins are more than welcome! I am a lousy chef, but even so, it would be the best meal they have had for a while I imagine!!

Conker from Conkers Bad Fur Day.

Extremely bad manners, and all-round mayhem guaranteed.

Anders from Dragon Age (Awakening/ 2).
Having to put up with dinner with him and then becoming a terrorist would be a terrible night for everyone included.
Especially the magic terrorism bit, but hey, who could say no to Anders? Certainly not me for some reason...

I'm gonna have to go with Liara T'Soni...

... I mean, it's fucking Liara T'Soni! Do I really need a better reason then that?
Wait... I am confused... You would never want Liara over for dinner because... She is Liara?

Anyways, I would never invite Marcus Fenix for dinner... I mean, I am sure he is perfectly nice and all, but I would imagine he would use his chainsaw gun to cut his meat. :(
i think he read it as which character would you want round for dinner

All of them. Except for maybe....
That Phil Collins character from Vice City Stories. He seems nice; talented too.

Adam Jensen. He'd probably complain about my food, starting off by saying "I didn't ask for this".

Gordon Freeman.
Sure, he might be a great guy but the conversations during dinner would be pretty much one sided all night.

Sasha, as her idea of dinner is making a soup out of the neighbours bones!

Hanako Ikezawa, because of the tremendous hassle involved. If the internet reaction is anything to go by, you'd have to be at a Denny's at three in the morning to escape the fanboys. And even then one of the short order cooks will probably want to make a proclamation of undying love to his waifu.

Just let the burned girl enjoy her pancakes, dammit.
You know... I was thinking Lilly would be my choice, because she just seems like the type of person to give off a calming aura.

I don't like stressful afternoons
You didn't read the first post did you? It's the character that YOU DON'T want to have dinner with.

Anyway, on topic:

I'd go with Garett (from the Thief series of course) because he'd probably steal everything that wasn't bolted down, and nobody would even see him doing it, so I'd get blamed.

Yeah I'd have Mordin, he's one of the best video game characters ever written (and not just because of that scene, although shepards blank reaction cracks me up everytime.)

It's a shame he's not gonna be a permanent squaddy in ME3 :(

Same here, although I'm pretty okay with having him in a supporting role. Mild doses of him seems like it would make those times he does appear that much sweeter.

Ephrael Stern.
Psyco would just go on a rampage as soon as she realised that no-one worshiped the emperor.
that applies to basically the entire adeptus sororitas, and a good bit of the guard as well, and more than a few marines.

not quite as bad as pleasure marines (slaanesh worshiping chaos legion). i..... i really dont want to think about what they would do just for shits and giggles.

Marcus Fenix. He wouldn't fit in my house. I'd actually have to buy a bigger door frame.
Eddie Riggs. I don't let people smoke in my house. Also he wouldn't fit either.

On the other hand, Ezio would be a charming dinner guest to have.
