A fight scene synchronized to the music. Any good example?

I want to find examples but applied to fighting scenes. As in, where you feel that the music was made FIRST and THEN the scene was made to "catch up with it"

I can't believe nobody's brought up Bugs yet...


and the ever infamous Opera scene...


or Red vs. Blue and Tex!

The Bugs Bunny bits are ok, not precicely a good fight but at least it follows the music, however the Red & Blue example, for all its baddassery delivered by Tex, doesnt follow the formula.

That is quite the point isnt it?
Does having a good fight scene means that you dont need to be restricted by synch the scene to the music? Why this doesn appear more often?

If you don't have too much against anime then type in AMV in youtube and see what pops up.
Often custom made anime battles that people have edited and put a song to.
I've made a few (none are that/any good) just for laughs but people who actually put time into them have made some really good ones.

But the ones you made have a SINGLE battle that you edited to go along with the music? because i dont want to offend any AMV maker but i want to see why a profesional in movies/games/whatever dont use this more often. Its easy for a fan to string a bunch of scenes with no conection whatsoever JUST to make the music and the timing right, know what i mean?

Now, this isn't a specific example, but it is undeniably true. Take a fight scene from any Power Rangers series, mute the show, and play it along with fast music. It will sync up, no matter what. My friends and I have tested this. It always works. The flipping and jumping always comes at the right time and if they do a little gesture, it will be in time to the music. This is undisputed, irreversible, scientific fact. Well, for the most part. A very small amount of timing is required, but other than that, you will always be good to go. It's a beautiful thing to see in action.

I get the feeling that you're "praising" my videos for often beeing just a single battle that I've edited to my liking. I think you don't like the filler parts of talk in between the fight scenes in anime, like so many others

Mah boy, i could get Tony Jay out of the underworld just to do my talking parts and bitches are going to listen up in the calm moments.

But back on topic, i actually like the talking parts of, say, Jojo's Bizzarre Adventure, where both oponents are trying to figure out each other power or otherwise are deader than dead. Point is, i dont know if having BOTH things could fuck me over, as in, in one fight i could have the synch of music and the battle and another one (possible with another person) i could have the "Battle of Wits and Impaling". I just dont know if there is an unwritten law that doesnt allow me to do whatever the fuck i like in the battle scenes because of tone/seriousness/genre limitations/etc.

The fight on the airship in Stardust has syncing with the Can-Can playing at the same time, including sword clashes timed with the music, it's actually quite clever.

Synched up to Papa Roach's Last Resort. Normally I'm not a fan of that kind of music, but hell, in this case, it worked!

Actually it isn't. Neither is the Jet Li Vs Jet Li Scene... still cool scenes though.

I understand what you mean, I love that stuff too, but I can't think of anything...

Try searching for music videos of any "actiony" songs that you've got, maybe you'll find something.

None of these movies were made with the music in mind originally, but I think it works out quite fine anyway in the end.

Very nice channel! His first video actually fits very well with op's description.
As said before its a not made for the music but its edited pretty damn well.

It would be a good example if my desire wasnt something like making the scene CATCH UP to the music that was already made before that scene.

The sad part is that i wanted to make a metroidvania game with the option of making each hit/skill you do to an enemy (and each hit you received that ALSO uses a diferent sound per enemy) trigger a specific note.

Well, i guess that without much money it was bound to be expected that someone else got first

Not really a fight scene, but this is still synced wonderfully by the artist who made the music.

Rob Jarzombek's band Blotted Science made an entire EP synced to scenes from certain movies.
The song 'Ingesting Blattaria' used Creepshow, and has unfortunately already been taken down and was in my opinion, the best effort. But this one is still great too..
