Of Mine Own Eyes

You play a paranormal investigator solving a mystery by acting out the events leading up to the murder of a ghost haunting a theater whom is only coaxed into showing itself by acting at midnight; the player uses lighting and, often silhouetted, props to reveal the story.

A Lovecraftian third person game in which you can either play as the humans who can only hold out for so long or the horrific beasts which stalk the aformentioned humans.
Left 4 Dead?
A tiny bit like L4D versus mode, but instead the monsters are, as I said, Lovecraftian (Shoggoths, Deep Ones, etc.) and the humans can't blow away 10 enemies at a time.
Possibly to include a sanity feature and most likely very story based. Also, if it could be designed, a really good text to speech program so we wouldn't have to deal with the annoying mics and the story would be somewhat like heavy rain, where if one person dies it would simply edit itself to make that part of the story. I know it's practically impossible, but it would be awesome considering the only lovecraftian games out there are Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, which had a good story, but terrible voice acting and really annoying glitches, and Cthulhu Saves the World, which was funny, but not in true Lovecraft spirit.
Of course, somone may make a game out of James Cameron's "At the Mountains of Madness", but if you're making a video game off a movie, and the movie itself craps on the original story, then that game would probably end up as another one of those games that nobody likes to talk about, or loves to hate.

Bethesda, Bioware, Lionhead, and IO work together.
Lionhead? Have you not played Fable 3 yet? I say replace them with Valve, but if you do that then the game will be delayed indefinitely :D
People complain about Fable, but its always a good game.

Bethesda for the base, Bioware for the story and world development, Lionhead for making the world alive and more civilian side, and IO for interactivity. An amazing RPG. For more specific examples, Morrowind/Oblivion + Mass Effect/Dragon Age + Fable series + Hitman.

A world that is basically just a compilation of bits of a hundred other worlds which was made by the gods to preserve a bit of them because a great force of evil is bringing chaos across the multi verse, each country in this world obeys the rules it did originally.
Example, in one country theres soul reapers with Zanpakto who have to kill hollows where as its neighboring countries are the mushroom kingdom, earth, and a country made from bits of the Naruto world.
It would be interesting IMO although it seems most people hate cameos...

an mmofps with insane amounts of customisation, the setting is in the 1950s BUT there are all of you typical fantasy creatures co-existing with humanity(and all humanoid species are all on the same page with humans technology wise), there is no set factions, instead the players MAKE the factions!

that was the most epic run on EVER!

The Road: The Game.

OP: Travel to the afterlife in search of your best friend (who is in turn looking for his deceased wife), only to discover that it's a mishmash of endless forest, mountains, bog, swamp, and moor suspended in perpetual misty twilight where the hapless dead try to make a "living" in the harsh environment; become their hero and return to the earth by defeating the nine predatory creatures who roam these unforgiving lands.

I cheated, a sentence that long shouldn't exist.

Think about that for five minutes.
Observation: I must note that a game like that has already been made. My master enjoyed it before his untimely death. Oh how I liked to watch as he made the organic meat-worms slave for him.

Statement: A game about killing hu-men with blasters as a robot...oh, an advanced assasination droid can dream...
Meatbags, not hu-men. I should not have to correct you HK...

OT: A magical velociraptor and a unicorn team up with Alvin and the Chipmunks to save the good sir knight not appearing in the

Really? You should, it's great. (Also really depressing).
