Oblivion. The more good things I hear about it, the less I enjoy it when I try to play it, and I've heard an awfully large number of good things. None of the mods that supposedly "fix the game" have improved it enough to make it bearable.

Kingdom Hearts. I know I'm being shallow, especially since I've never actually played it, but...I just can't take it seriously. I mean, I can't take Final Fantasy characters seriously when they're hanging out with OTHER Final Fantasy characters. How the hell am I supposed to take them seriously when they're hanging out with Mickey Freakin' Mouse??!!

I am going to take soooo much shit for this....

Oh well! POST!

I can't play any of the Call of Duty games. Not because I'm a pretentious auteur "indie games are the ONLY REAL GAMES" dick, but because I have a big rage problem. The CoD games are pretty goddamn conducive to making me very, very angry. I do find them fun when I'm not raging at them. That...doesn't last long, however.

All Sandbox games (except for maybe Infamous and Red Faction: Guerilla).

They're all so dull and boring, I even had trouble getting more than a few hours into Saint's Row 2 before realizing how little fun I was having.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. i am a huge zelda fan, ive beaten almost every other zelda game, but i just find OoT so BORING. ive tried many times to play it through, but i just cant do it. i just find the entire game bland, and the only reason i play it(ive never gotten to the end of the first temple without just quitting)is the gameplay.

A lot because of negative things.
Blood Rayne 2 because, damn, I'm not in the woods, I don't need a tent.

333 - Halfway to hell.

Any game that has an inner-body level (or Womb Levels, as TVtropes call 'em). I'm kind of... Uh... "Vorephobic", so to speak. It's the only reason I never finished Okami, and when I played to Ocarina of Time I had to get my cousin to beat Jabu Jabu's Belly for me while I was in a different room. Seriously, I just... Don't... Like.. Inner-body levels.

Also I guess I can add sports games to that list. I've never actually played one, but they just don't look like my cup of tea.

silent hill 2. idk i just find it boring. plus the VA's are shit and ruin the experience. in fact thats prolly it. also maybe just all the hype made my expectations too high? but maybe it deserves a second chance?

That was my realisation about black ops.
Even the zombies, how did they manage to fuck up that?

Unless the car is equipped with a rocket launcher, I ain't playing a racing game.
This, basically. A few years ago, I tried playing a Forza game someone gave me for christmas. If it's racing and it's not Crash Bandicoot or Mario Kart, colour me disinterested.

OT: well, in terms of story, and missions, Just Cause 2. The voice acting was terrible and (agreeing with Yahtzee here) the missions are kind of bland. I was about to write it off when I realized its driving engine was good and the capacity for fucking around was virtually limitless. After my first mission assisting a gang, I haven't touched the story mode or any side missions. I'm having too[footnote]had to correct that from two, god I'm a failure...[/footnote] much fun crashing stuff into other stuff, stealing jet fighters and blowing shit up.

Jagged Alliance 2. Not that it's a bad game, but for some reason it just can't hold my interest for more than 30 minutes.

OBLIVION. I have tried and tried and tried but it is never going to happen. I just can't get past the crap voice acting and the weird zoomy dialogue thing.

For me, I can't play Overlord.

It isn't because it I didn't have fun playing it. I love the game. But, there is just something about the field of view and the way the camera moves that makes me motion sick.

Overlord is the only game that I've ever gotten motion sick from.

Whether it be the quality of it, moral obligation or perhaps you've played it so many times over, you can't bear yourself to do it again.

For me it has to be Dante's Inferno.
Everything just seems so wrong about it.

So, what about you?
... and i just got the oddest captcha ever... 'dead cat bounce'
I was going to say Dante's Inferno before I even got to read your message. I don't really have anything against the game, I watched my brother play through most of it. I enjoy the design, but when I get to actually playing it, I get bored and can't play for more than a few minutes.
From what I've heard the engine isn't too good. One of those incredibly repetitive hack n'slash third person brawls. That stuff can be done well, but no amount of aesthetic can make up for it if it isn't. I haven't played it though, so I wouldn't know.

I really, really try to play through ME1, because I love the second part. But the combat feels as if not intented to be done with mouse and keyboard.
I probably doesn't feel like it was in tended for mouse and keyboard because it didn't get a pc port until a year after release. :/

OT: Sports games and fighting games. I don't know why, though. And Battlefield BC1. It makes my head hurt from all the movement/view bobbing
