Oblivion. The more good things I hear about it, the less I enjoy it when I try to play it, and I've heard an awfully large number of good things. None of the mods that supposedly "fix the game" have improved it enough to make it bearable.
That was my realisation about black ops.Dango said:All Sandbox games (except for maybe Infamous and Red Faction: Guerilla).
They're all so dull and boring, I even had trouble getting more than a few hours into Saint's Row 2 before realizing how little fun I was having.
This, basically. A few years ago, I tried playing a Forza game someone gave me for christmas. If it's racing and it's not Crash Bandicoot or Mario Kart, colour me disinterested.SonofaJohannes said:Unless the car is equipped with a rocket launcher, I ain't playing a racing game.
From what I've heard the engine isn't too good. One of those incredibly repetitive hack n'slash third person brawls. That stuff can be done well, but no amount of aesthetic can make up for it if it isn't. I haven't played it though, so I wouldn't know.Senaro said:I was going to say Dante's Inferno before I even got to read your message. I don't really have anything against the game, I watched my brother play through most of it. I enjoy the design, but when I get to actually playing it, I get bored and can't play for more than a few minutes.Sizzle Montyjing said:What's the game that you simply can't play?
Whether it be the quality of it, moral obligation or perhaps you've played it so many times over, you can't bear yourself to do it again.
For me it has to be Dante's Inferno.
Everything just seems so wrong about it.
So, what about you?
... and i just got the oddest captcha ever... 'dead cat bounce'
I probably doesn't feel like it was in tended for mouse and keyboard because it didn't get a pc port until a year after release. :/hammelbamf said:I really, really try to play through ME1, because I love the second part. But the combat feels as if not intented to be done with mouse and keyboard.
