...Cowboy Bebop?

I dunno, it's the only anime I've ever seen, apart from Mobile Suit Gundam and Dragonball Z when I was a wee lad.

You should check it out too. Just be sure to watch the dubbed version.

I would say it's anime for everyone, even if you don't like anime.

I suggest this to everyone monster it is a psychological crime mystery thriller with a dark and realistic feel to it like it could actually happen. it is based it Germany and start with the a promising young brain sergeant operating on a framer and then being told to operate on someone more important I will leave it at that because you can't even go five minutes into it without giving away plot. it uses a more realistic style then other animes to help with it's atmosphere each character is given character expansion (even some which only appear for one episode). it will either have you biting your nails with suspense or drawn in to every word being said even if it's just a casual conversation. Just watch the first episode you will be hooked.

Based off what you said, you'd probably enjoy Toradora! It's one of my favorites. You also might wanna check out "Working!!".

If you like light sided Slice of Life, I suggest things a healthy regimen of Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Klannad, Kannagi and Azumunga Daioh.

If you like your Slice of Life with a little more kick I suggest Toradora, Welcome to the NHK, Kodomo No Jikan (pedo alert though) and Full Metal Panic.

Listen to the intelligent people.

Arguably kodomo no jikan wasn't peado because it was the kid coming onto the adult but whatever.
OT: Gintama is a funny as hell comedy, but there isn't an english language release so I hope you like subtitles.

She was still underage.
And the entire series has a ton of Fanservice(It gets borderline H from time to time) featuring her and her friends.
So its still Pedo IMO.

EDIT:Though i agree with Gintama, the Manga is awesome.

i'm sorry, but if you want a story, no. It's pretty much boils down to KOTA RUN IT UP IN ME, OH WAIT YOU WANT HER... WELL I'M GONNA ACT MOODY AND HAVE SHIT BLOW UP. While i actually did enjoy it for the wtf is happening, the ones listed above i believe are more story based. So if you want an amazing story the anime you want is!

I dunno, never seen it myself, but I have heard 'Maria watches over us' (or something like that) is pretty good.

That shit be fucked up.

OT: Unfortunately, I haven't watched any of the ones you liked, but I strongly, STRONGLY recommend Ergo Proxy. It's pretty heady though, may be too hard to digest.

Well based on the OP, I would think that you kind of like the comedy genre in anime. I would suggest Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (So long, Mr. Misery). If you've watched a lot of anime, there are a lot of things you'll pick up because it's a parody of so many animes put together. And if you've watched it, well, I'll come up with more.

You'll need to explain to the OP how a psychological/murder/gore/child abuse show is relevant to a high school slice of life.

Don't really watch that style of anime often. But I'll always recommend Hunter x hunter to anybody when I'm out of idea's.
hehe, only ever read the manga of that... can be so unpredictable. double reccomendation here... but thats only if you (the OP) is considering broadening your field of anime.

So does your mum
Now that was just rude. Really. I slap your wrist for that.

OT: I'd recommend Toradora! I probably only liked it because there was enough of a cultural difference for me to ignore the fact that it was, basically, a teen drama, but I still rather enjoyed it.

I also liked Please Teacher! or Onegai Teacher! dependant on how you want to spell it. It made me laugh. Though I can't for the life of me remember anyone's name but Mizuho's...

EDIT: Just read P.I.Staker's recent post, and I'm just curious. Why are we feeding the troll?
hehe, i very much like your post. i believe if we were to be metaphorical, we wouldn't be feeding the troll. we'd be stamping on the bridge above it's head, which we believe would be a good way to annoy and get back at it. however, what we don't know is that the troll relishes the noise, realising that he is fulfilling his duty of being stubborn, in-our-face and making his mother very proud (She may or may not "suck", we do not have any evidence to confirm that statement).
and i'll have to look up some of those suggestions myself.

hmmm, to stop quoting and borrowing other people's opinions:- urrrm, i'm afraid i've never really gotten into the "slice of life" animes/mangas... but what i do watch/read always seems to have it as a sub-genre... as in it plays a small part. Thinking on it, i did actually read a Shoujo (i think thats the correct term) called "Sky High" and that was a 'slice of life' i believe. its very funny and the artwork... well, it suited the manga... thats right, its a Manga, i don't know if there is an anime of it if you prefer to watch than read. but for what its worth...

I recommend "Sky High"

It might be a different kind of humor, but Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei fits wonderfully well with that list.
Also, it's fucking amazing.

Hunter X Hunter started a typical Shonen Manga where the guy wanted to be the best Hunter, to a Adventure in a Card Collecting VR Game, then a Cooking Battle, just to name a few settings.
Id say Unpredictable is an understatement.
XD
I need to start reading it.
iv only read a bit but i liked it.

And the award for most successful troll goes to...

P.I.Staker!

On a serious note, as much fun as trolling is, you don't honestly believe every person that likes a certain thing acts the same way. I don't need to go into an explanation, nobody that stupid would find it worth their time posting here.

Whether you're a film noir fan or not, it's worth watching Bebop just for the action and especially the music.

As for OP, slice of life isn't one of my preferred genres. You've already seen Azumanga which I think is the best in the genre. If you just want something with students in it, watch Highschool of the Dead.

Anime is just, lame. I just hate the way it is drawn and especially it's fans.
1. You are not aware that there are several different art styles in anime/manga.
2. You don't look at fans, you look at fanatics, and there's a big difference there.
3. Why would you post that anime sucks in a thread filled with people who love anime?
4. You are a superficial asshole.
