- Chrono Trigger (on hiatus)
- SW:KotOR
- Half Life
- Resident Evil(the Wii version of RE2)
- FF9

I plan to go back and play all my game threw.

2 amazing RPGs. I am just too lazy to brave through serious RPGs, but god I want to. I've memorized the first two levels of Deus Ex (I mentioned it, someone has to reinstall it) and I never got far in Morrowind.

On the bright side, I am making progress in both lately.

Half life 2. I got stuck somewhere in Ravenholm. I ran around for half an hour and couldn't figure out how to move on. Looking upwards, there seemed to be a platform connected to a wire running from one rooftop to another, but if there was a lever or something that I needed to pull to bring it to me, I couldn't bloody well find it. It'll probably turn out to have been right in front of my nose, but after the bad guys respawned for the third time around I thought "screw this". I'd intended to maybe google it quickly, since I've probably just missed something obvious, but I never got around to it and it's been a few years now. I'm not even certain if my save file still exists.

I couldn't get past an optional boss...

Yes, it's as sad as it sounds.

Evil Genius. Great game and concept, but I never got around to finish it because of those super heroes repeatedly trashing my base and killing off my best henchmen.

FFIX - got to the part where it becomes all open-ended (around the third disc?) and just stopped playing.

FFXII - Same as everyone else has said... GRINDING!

Silent Hill 2 - Too scared! I could only play it for like 10 minute intervals and then I got up to the Historical Society, which I gather is pretty close to the end, and I just couldn't carry on! I'm surprised I got as far as I did!

Red Dead Redemption.

I dont know why... I just cant play more than an hour of it nowadays...I get this moment where I go: "You know what is more fun than this? That other game! etc." and just go do something else.

Resonance of Fate... because I'm too much of a completionist. I got to a point where I could continue on with the main story just fine... but there was one optional fight I just wasn't a match for... so I did a lot of grinding... and just sort of quit before I got to strong enough to beat it.

Then there was Baldur's Gate II. I keep telling myself I should just swallow the stock party they stick ya with... but dammit, I got through Baldur's Gate as a thief with an evil/neutral party! I don't wanna start with Minsc and Imoen!

Rather than list specific titles, I'll simply state that I'm working my way through a shoebox full of old NES cartridges. Also three bookshelf rows, two filing cabinet drawers, and a shoebox-sized space next to the TV for various other systems.

...Wait, factoring in handheld and PC titles, better make that five bookshelf rows.

Wild Arms 3

I had played this game right to what I think is the end dungeon. I was having a blast.

However everyone who knows Wild Arms knows that the designers have a 'thing' for puzzles. To the detriment of the game.

This puzzle was one of those random door puzzles where you need to enter a specific series of doors on a map with random encounters and if you go in the wrong door you end up at the start again.

Trial and error. While being burdened by random encounters.

I couldn't stand it. They killed their game for me.

Dead Island. I got to the City and then the game lost all my interest.

Dark Souls

I really liked the game, but after a certain point I just didn't feel like I was making any real progress anymore. As soon as I'd beaten a tough monster a newer, tougher monster would take it's place, and an even tougher monster would appear in place of that one.

I just got totally burned out on it.

Practically every game I've ever played, apparently there are 500 games in my Backloggery, I have only beat about 100 of them, I've never touched, 100, 150 at most, the rest, all this...

Skyrim's getting that way. I've "only" played it for 50 hours, but the disillusion set in with a broken Thieves' Guild quest which I still haven't been able to finish. For some reason things like that tend to rupture that sense of living in a seamless and effortlessly integrated game-world...

Plus, I've gone from the stage of feeling guilty because I'm wasting my time playing games to really just not enjoying them much. I'd rather watch a great film, or read.

I'm the same. I see the game on the shelf in the shop, and think "Hmm, that looks good". I get it home, play it for a couple of hours, and think "Why did I buy this shit?"

Ninja'd. I love the atmosphere and the world is so morbidly beautiful that I want to explore it, but it's just too tough. I have spent around 14 hours on it but I feel like I have progressed very little.

Also, Skyrim. It's a fantastic game, and all the quests are great, but there really aren't that many of them. I have just clocked in at about 90 hours and I have no reason to play it anymore, as I just feel like I'll end up going to the companions and get a standard "go kill this guy" quest, which is all I feel like I'm doing in that game at the moment.

Batman: Arkham Asylum. Nothing wrong with the game, but when I couldn't find that VERY last Riddler trophy, I just gave up. And Challenge Mode just isn't enough to keep my attention.

Mass Effect 2 already put 100+ hours in it and did a few playthroughs on insanity. Even started using some mods out of boredom.

Great game but I was just done with it.
