Nice humor vid, but I was under the impression that Battlefield really didn't have "camping" per se. At least, not in the traditional sense. Area (Objective/CP) Defense is a perfectly acceptable (heck, necessary) strategy in Battlefield, running around solo and doing the whole "Rambo" schtick that was shown in the video is, in my experience, the easiest way to die.
Having played almost every game in the series (though, I admit, the only ones that I took online for any significant length of time were 2 and both Bad Company games), I've learned some of the ins and outs of the class system, but I've tended to stay away from the Recon kit, which, if I've heard correctly, is the stereotypical "Camper" kit.
I've never really liked sniping all that much in Battlefield (that doesn't mean that I didn't do it from time to time, of course, I can be a bit hypocritical at times), so I can't say that I would know much about "Camping" from that end. That said, I have lost a fair amount of tickets to the Bad Company Bush-Wookies, so I can understnd the frustration with them. Thankfully, Bad Company has provided one of the best anti-camping measures I have ever seen in a game. Most encounters with snipers can often turn into something along the lines of...
"There's a sniper in that building over ther! He's got the entire road covered! What should we do?"
"Why, level the building, of course."
...Ah, fun times, fun times. Most of the times I played Arica Harbor in BFBC 2, the town would be a rubble pile with roads after my team was done with it, snipers tended to slack off on the fire after the 2nd or 3rd mortar strike, or when we just let the tanks shell the buildings for a minute before we went in. Wasn't a whole lot left to camp from after that...
