Do you want to turn this thread into a softcore Overwatch thread? Because this is how you turn a thread into a softcore Overwatch thread.
Nah, if I really wanted to turn this into a softcore Overwatch thread, I would have posted something like the pic just beneath your post.

Well never let it be said that the internet will let established lore get in the way of a bit of red hot shipping.
To be fair, Widowmaker's rump probably would make for a very nice pillow. :p

I've said it once and I'll say it again.

Someone at Blizzard REALLY loves tight, wonderful bums and skintight outfits.

As a grown man who can appreciate sexually designed characters? Lovely and I thank you fit it, blizzard employee.

The fact any of said ladies could kick my ass (and in Nova's case either shoot me from the other side of town or make my brain leak out my ear). Shocking I know, being a man who likes sexy women but also is fine with them being powerful and empowered. (sighs)

21st century and you have to add that kind of information. (sighs)

So, is it Canon?

Btw, Bridget is also in the game, sooooooooooo I hope at least to see her........him in the next normal game.
I am not exactly heavy into the lore of Guilty Gear or indeed any fighter (I just like them) but the way the story is set up it pretty much seems to allow for any crazy amount of divergent paths so I suppose on one path it could be canon but I do not believe it is following the same path as the actual fighting games (or at least the new ones) so in that sense no it is not (as far as I know anyway).

Dont believe Bridget is in Revelator but he is a fan favourite so I would expect him and Baiken soonish. Personally I am really looking forward to Jack O I got the chance to try her in the arcades and I am useless with her (even more so than usual somehow) but damn she is fun. Also Dizzy should be back fairly soon as DLC I believe.....yay DLC! ugh. I like Dizzy though so hyped for her return.

Koihime Enbu is also pretty pricy your right but still may get it as its the fighter that has reminded me most of SF2 (not many combos just mostly pokes, footsies and spacing) at least until you get counter hit hard then its some crazy Blazblue stuff, well your basically dead tbh if they have meter and they catch you pressing buttons with a heavy counter.

Thing is Xrd takes place 5 years after Acent Core so Bridget would have a manly hairy chest and facial hair by now, it'd be tricky to keep him true to his design, unless they just scoop him from the past order sol style...which reminds me, order sol when. I want my old main back x.x .

You know, I wouldn't mind if Bridget appear more mature and dress again as a girl. This is after all Guilty Gear. Many kind of unique characters are in the game. I would LOVE the developers have balls to design him as a Otome characters dress as a girl.

That kind of is Amane in blazblue though, that's why I dismissed it, not original or weird enough. Though I doubt they can do anything about his mannerisms, which is why he isn't in yet despite being quite popular.

*I warned you*

Here is the Link which you can Download the Alpha Version of the game. 2 more Fighters are in work, so stay tune.

http://www.add-ict.net/2dk.html

I hope in the future the developers add more fighters. The total of the characters of this game will be 8. 6 normal + 2 Bosses.
I'm curious as to what makes this 'SkullGirls' esque considering how the only similarities to them is the fact that it's gonna be 2D animated and it's not it's own studio.

Either way, maybe the game looks interesting, but the style isn't really doing it for me. Although it slightly reminds me of Street Fighter for some reason. Must be the attention to muscle detail.

Gotta wonder if this is to fuck with the Tracer protesters.
You mean the people who started petitions and threw a massive tizzy over a pose being changed? I would have assumed they'd like a game with sexualized schoolgirls.
I get your trying to belittle the people who had a problem with it because you agreed with it but now your just being disingenuous when people had a problem over why it was done, you know principals and all that.

Feel obligated to add something to the thread, got to remind people that sexualizing women is rarely a negative if you like that sort of thing.

Personally I'm sick of hearing anything about Tracers fucking butt because the whole thing was a nontroversey to begin with. It was a single comment on a fucking beta feedback forum thread that got blown up to span hundreds of threads, thousands of comments, plenty of headaches and a copious amount of tears on both sides all because the art director responded back and changed something they were going to do anyway.
I'm more annoyed by the fact that this was only brought up because SOMEONE had to go and say 'lol I bet that butt pose will make the Puritans angry because Tracer amirite? It's nonsensical and dumb.
Nobody really gave a fuck until people decided to piss themselves and give a fuck because what's a gaming community with out idiot slapfights?

Well that's your opinion man on whether or not it was a controversy but your post comes off as highly aggressive against people who thought otherwise and your really selling it short.

Person has a problem with a pose that could would considered sexualizing at a stretch and it was changed.

Where in a period where you have people trying to portray sexualization as something sinful, you may think this was a non-issue but many seen it as part of a bigger issue, why do people continue to word this as if the issue was really about the pose itself? we all know it wasn't.

Sometimes I like hot sexy characters sometimes I don't. Sometimes it feels like gamers have a shitfest every time females arn't 100% sexy to the max.

I get that there are people who never want to see a guy portrayed as sexy or that all female characters must be from the Quiet mold.

I personally don't need every female character to be designed to titillate me and if I feel a character seems to be set up to do that for no good reason (outside of porn games) then it does nothing for me. Catwoman is sexy and it 's built into the character. Quiet is sexy and is seeming suffering from PTSD where she thinks she is a stripper and the whole things just does not work for the character (to me).

My favorite 2d girls fighting game is Asuka 120% Burning Fest. I think this means I am old.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration, for every overtly sexual character like say Quiet in Overwatch there's probably about 20 plus that are more like Tracer, but even if that wasn't the case I wouldn't consider it a problem if that's what people want. You must admit that many treat putting in a character like Quiet as some horrible sin against all women, there's no denying it at this point.

The guy never portrayed as sexy is also a false equivalence (if I'm using that word right) that people use far too often. You know what the fundamental problem with it is, men and women do not find the exact same things sexy to the same degree.

I'm sure you've heard this BS "that's a male power fantasy, that's not for women" here's the thing, it's more often than not both. To put it into actual real life equivalent, I don't lift weights because I want to physically overpower others, I do it because of what it means to my physical appearance. Look at the female fantasy flicks, Hunger Games, Twilight, Jupiter Rising, even parodied in Inside Out with Riley's imaginary boyfriend, all the male love interests where physically fit men that where overly concerned with protecting the female lead (damsel trope). So in a sense men and women want the same thing, they just don't want men and women to do the same thing and as your no doubt aware people have a problem with this healthy and natural state of being.

Never said there was a problem with characters like quiet. I just feel the way she is does not work in the game she is in and would work better in some other game where that behavior does not clash so much with the plot/environment. YMMV.

What was an exaggeration? There are definitely some people who want all their games to be fanservice and porn and the slightest idea of a sizable cock buldge in tight pants of a male character would be the end of the world. I didn't say all gamers are like this.
I know a person who nearly died when he went to the theater and saw Watchman because of blue penis. I hear plenty of people on the internet talk that way. You would think a penis not their own was some form of kryptonite.

I mean that men seem to get all squicked out and not like it when male characters are set up to be sexy to women. I am married so I have some idea of the things that are sexy to females of the species (not all of them certainly) as I get told by my wife what she sees and finds attractive or hot or turn-ons in general.

Your right YMMV so that means it's not a problem all a matter of taste.

Is an exaggeration on the amount of games that exist and who cares if people if some individual people can't be civil when wording there tastes, this exists for practically EVERY fandom.

and?people can dislike or like what they want and no where near as often as women do but again men don't have a problem with it in the vast majority of circumstances the same way women do (there's actually a bit of human nature into why that is). On the sexy thing take the Hawkeye thing where he was drawn in normally female poses, women don't normally go for that stuff.

but on that why do people complain? because people often see problems where there are none and there have been examples on these very boards. On at least 3 separate occasions boards where started revolving around the appeal of female characters and in response boards started up stating there disproval and trying to do the same thing with male characters. Now these people could have started a board around male characters whenever they wanted (and despite what you said about guys complaining) get a minute fraction of the complaints if ANY compared to the female boards. A simple case of if guys have something then women must have it as well even if they don't want it.

Now these people could have started a board around male characters whenever they wanted (and despite what you said about guys complaining) get a minute fraction of the complaints if ANY compared to the female boards. A simple case of if guys have something then women must have it as well even if they don't want it.
I never said Quite was a problem just that I thought she did notwork for me in that game.

It wasn't just Hawkeye that was used the poses on all the characters were gender flipped to show how silly it is.

The rest (especially the last bit) didn't make much sense to me but it might be my being old (not quite OLD yet) or low blood sugar.

Are you sure womans created those "boards" and that was the motivation? Could it have been trolling (by anyone) or maybe making a point about something else other then envy?

Also you keep saying boards, I assume you mean threads?

I think what you are saying is it boils down to "simply women must have the things men have even if they don't want it"? I don't see that as a gender thing and more of a humans thing, we want things others have. Most people never really grow up. We put on a disguise but so much of what is called "childish behavior" is still there in adults just fancier and with a larger dose of justification.
