Said with such conviction it almost seems like you thought of it yourself. Almost. Political correctness is a good thing. It helps to put women on the same level playing field as men, blacks on the same level as whites, etc. etc.CM156 said:Political correctness is killing America. That is all.
Stupid, barely-even-there-because-no-one-other-than-ultra-conservatives-who-like-to-*****-about-everything political correctness is, at worst, throwaway, and marginally funny.
Just because people spout the stupid fucking phrase that is, "political correctness is killing this country" doesn't mean its a logical one or true.
Considering Easter and Christmas essentially have developed secular equivalents with the same name, the side that views them as simply national holidays could rename them to what they want whilst you continue calling them whatever you want. I.e. Non-issue.Gilhelmi said:I really wish that non-Christians would stop celebrating our holidays and then try and change them to be PC.
This is why I get so annoyed about political correctness. They take my sacred holiday (Easter, Passover, Christmas, ect) and try and make it into another generic holiday with all the meaning taken out.
Let us pray "Lord, why must we suffer these idiots that keep trying to take away our sacred holidays. We pray Lord, give us strength and the wisdom to show them, in a peaceful way, that it is not right to take away our holidays and turn them into something they are not. In your Son's holy name, we pray, Amen".
Oh, and the story is probably fake: http://www.thefrisky.com/post/246-spring-spheres-instead-of-easter-eggs-not-so-fast/
