A quick question about prohibition

Is it just me, or does a poster who with a "User was put on prohibition for this comment" just look totally badass? I always click the link to see what they've written that was so offensive, and half the time it isn't even that bad.

Anyway, doesn't anyone else consider this a 'badge of honour', or am I just weird?

First off, as others have already pointed out, it's Probation.

Secondly, while curiosity as to what got the person zapped is perfectly understandable, thinking it's some how a "badge of honor" doesn't say great things about you. Getting disciplined doesn't make you cool, it just means you've done something wrong.

Susan is completely right here. I was put on probation for a really stupid comment I made in the Zynga/Square Enix MM therad, and I don't see it as a badge of honour. I'm just glad I managed to get my Neo badge first, otherwise I feel really disappointed at being on probation. It's meant to be a punishment and a warning, not something to be proud of. At least I know that if I put another foot wrong, then the next punishment will be worse.

LoL. I thought this was a thread on PROHIBITION. I was all ready to smack down on those progressive idiots.

OT: I don't really see it as a badge of honor. The person in question in my mind probably went too far in a forum. It's more of a warning that you should keep it civil in here.

I always click to see what someone gets suspended/probated/banned for so I know not to do it
