I'm probably not going to b able to use my computer often enough to join a proper RP, but I can certainly make characters for other people to use or to be used as NPCs yes?
Also if someone wants to join but their character doesn't fit, you could thrust Frank on them.
Name: Frank Rose
Appearance: Refuses to take off his power armor in public, so who knows?

Weapons: Displacer fist, Gauss pistol (It's allright if I use weapons from fallout games other than 3? if so, I would lump the pistol under energy weapons as if it were in a newer fallout game)
Other items: Suit of heavily modified T-45D Power Armor, whatever ammo you feel a Gauss Pistol should use, (Just energy cells like it would if it were in 3/NV, or something special like in 2?) wrenches, hammers, scrap metal/electronics and duct tape.
Transportation: Walking. He knows how to fix up the busted motorcycles, cars and trucks you sometimes see to work with MF cells, but prefers walking.

Tag Skills: Unarmed, Energy Weapons, Repair.

Traits: Heavy Handed, Tank. (A homebrew trait; essentially it's the opposite of the Kamikaze trait.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L.: 7, 8, 10, 5, 9, 3, 2.

Perks: Toughness, Jury Rigging (A nerfed equivalent of it that isn't as game-breaking preferably) Piercing strike, super slam, Striking points (A homebrew perk which allows you to use certain skills to increase your unarmed damage against certain enemy types. Medicine for humans, repair for robots, survival for animals etc.) Second-skin (Homebrew perk which reduces how much armor slows you down) Maintenance(A homebrew perk which reduces the rate at which items in your possession degrade)

Bio: Frank is a former knight with the East Coast Brotherhood who defected when the Brotherhood/outcast civil war started to look serious. He absconded with the items that he deemed he would need and sought his own path.
Are homebrew perks/traits acceptable? I tried to make them all relatively reasonable.

Ok, sounds good. I've got a few ideas floating around. I should have a sheet up within the next day.

APPEARANCE: Blue eyes, brown hair, and a low amount of facial hair.
PERSONALITY: Calm and kind unless provoked (Jericho knows this personally)
WEAPONS: Anything he can get his hands on

ITEMS: Similar to the weapons, anything he doesn't have already that he can grab
PERKS/TRAITS/SKILLS: Accurate, stealthy, and good with speaking. Will occasionally go into a frenzy when in a bad situation and swing a Shishkebab around nonstop.

TRANSPORTATION: His shoes were made for walking, but he'll jack an Enclave chopper if he needs to.

NAME: Walker.
AGE: 22.
GENDER: Male.
RACE: Human, Anglo-Saxon.

APPEARANCE: Six feet four inches tall, average weight, short brown hair, a short beard, icy blue eyes, and a light skin tone. Black leather armour, steel toed boots, and fingerless leather gloves.

PERSONALITY: Paranoid, Obsessive Compulsive, Socially awkward, and Schizophrenic at times (treated with his modified stimpacks, but there is an off chance they're causing it so...).
He has a strong sense of justice and generally adopts a ask questions first, shoot later attitude in situations where time isn't critical.
He has that condition from that movie memento, and the only thing that's allowing him to actually produce more memories is his medication (see above and below).

WEAPONS: A scoped Hunting rifle, a silenced M1911 pistol, and a machete.

ITEMS: Leather Armour, a framed backpack, a canteen, trail rations, a bedroll, a serrated knife, a bedroll, a lighter, a can of gasoline, a length of rope, stimpacks (laced with a fixer, jet, turbo, and mentat soltuion), and ammunition.

PERKS/TRAITS/SKILLS: Sharpshooter, sneak thief, lucky, dexterous, intuitive, and great with a chemistry set.
Due to his abuse of turbo and the drug interaction in his meds, he occassionaly slips into bullet time.

TRANSPORTATION: A horse named Laura... or Mary, depending on how sane he is at the time.

I'm tired right now and this was done in ten minutes so theres a good chance I'm doing an overhaul in the morning.

This RP is kinda' loose, so you didn't have to gimme hard stats, per se. 'Course, if this is an NPC, I can see why you would. Thanks for the effort. Just one question about this guy: Does he work for anyone NOW and if not, who WOULD HE?

NAME: Barry Allen
AGE: 27
GENDER: Male
RACE: Caucasian
APPEARANCE: Barry is five foot nine and weighs one hundred and seventy pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. He wears leather armor that he spray painted red and put The Flash?s logo on.
PERSONALITY: Barry took the death of his father?poorly. He lost all sanity, repressed most of his memories, and convinced himself he was The Flash. He sees the world differently from the rest of us. He sees everyone working with him as a superhero and everyone working against him as a villain. He also thinks the world will revert back to normal once he wipes out all the supposed ?Villains.? When he kills people he thinks that he is knocking them out. He gets frustrated quickly if you tell him that his world view is delusional, but besides that he is a good natured person.
WEAPONS: He carries a bladed gauntlet that he spray painted red and a grenade that he is saving for a very special occasion.
ITEMS: A couple bottles of purified water, a half a dozen stimpacks, and a few dozen bottle caps. He also carries a collection of comic books in a pack.
PERKS/TRAITS/SKILLS: Barry is rather incredibly agile. If he was born in the pre-apocalypse world he could have probably been an Olympic sprinter and has very good reflexes. He has above average strength and intelligence. However he is woefully unlucky to the point where most are surprised he hasn?t spontaneously caught fire and he is also quite brittle. He has no knowledge in any particularly useful skills such as lockpicking or science. However, he is quite charismatic which has gotten him out of quite a few sticky situations in the years since he father was violently murder by raiders.
TRANSPORTATION: Barry always prefers to run whenever he can.
(I think The Flash would exist in Fallout. It is a product of the 1950?s culture and thats the culture the prewar world had in Fallout.)

Well I would like to get involved, but if I prove unable to, then he could be used as an NPC.
He maintains an obsession with collecting and fixing tech from his brotherhood days, and as such will work for those who could supply him with such technology. (Preferably in schematic form as he doesn't want to carry around a junkyard, but he will gladly dissect any technology he can.
He is otherwise fine with mercenary work, or just helping out if it seems like a good cause.

We can be anything, neato!

NAME: Android #2759, Michael Brown
.
AGE: Made to look like a 28 year old, but in reality it has only been ?alive? for 9 months

GENDER: Male.

RACE: Android, Caucasian

APPEARANCE: #2759 is made to look like one of the low ranking members of The Brotherhood of Steel. He is 5?11? and of a muscular build. His skin is tanned from the ?time? spent stranded in the wasteland. His eyes are blue, his light brown hair is sun damaged and unkempt, he has what seems like a permanant 5 o?clock shadow and the beginnings of a mustache on his upper lip. He keeps his power armour in the saddle packs of the brahmin he was given, so he usually wears a faded duster on top of cheap combat armour. He also wears a ten gallon hat that he was immediately fond of when he saw it on sale in one of the small outposts he past.

PERSONALITY: He is programed to believe that he is Michael Brown, a self styled cowboy of the wasteland who signed up to become an initiate of the Brotherhood of Steel, however the people who programmed him to believe this also thought that his assignment might have more success if he was an amnesiac so he tends to be quite naive. He has only vague recollections of what he was like before he lost his memories, but generally tends to be amiable towards people unless they pull out a gun first. However, if his system comes under duress, his human persona will be buried and his android self will come to light. A cold killer with no emotion, only focussed on completing his mission.

BIO: The Institute, Android Manufacture Labs, 12 months ago.

****BEGIN RECORDING****

A: ?This is the finished model, Dr. Hudson? Well he has come along nicely....?

H: ?Dr. Ash. He?s perfect, even down to the imperfections.?

A: ?Wouldn?t want him to be too perfect now would we? But the real question is: is #2759 ready for deployment??

H: ?All the subroutines are in place and we?re finished with testing, so yes. The only thing we?re not certain of is if he believes he is who we say he is.?

A: ?We?ve been through this before, you?re too cautious when it comes to things like this. Of course he will, like the other thousands you?ve programmed.?

H: ?#2759 isn't just any old service android, you know what will happen if the Enclave thinks we?ve sabotaged him.?

A: ?Yes, but every android contains some form of black box recording everything they see. For maintenance purposes. They?ll buy it. Quit your dithering and deploy him, we can?t afford to waste any more time.?

H: ?I suppose you?re right, we need to get him to the drop point so we can get the funds they promised us.?

A: ?To think now, the only thing holding us back is the time it?ll take to transport #2759, now that I?ve dealt with your ever-present dithering about this or that...?

****LAUGHTER****

H: ?Well you know me, I always think there a devil in the detail somewhere.?

****MORE LAUGHTER****

A: ?Ship him out already then. By this time, the Enclave will be losing patience.?

H: ?I?ll message the pilot about the drop, and the workers on the factory floor can box him up, nice and tight. ASAP, of course.?

****END OF RECORDING****
____________________________________________________________________________________

MISSION STATEMENT:

1.) To locate the Brotherhood of Steel by order of the Enclave.

2.) To infiltrate the Brotherhood of Steel and spy on them, transmitting location details and operation data by order of the Enclave

SECRET ORDERS: To transmit footage and data, on all operations, to the Institute.
_____________________________________________________________________________________

Michael woke up in the middle of nowhere with flask empty, empty food rations, and an empty head. His Powertech Armour damaged beyond repair and a rattlesnake in his boots. Michael kicked the rattlesnake out of its new abode and set out to reach the hazy image of a nearby village. He thought it he would die by sunset, but he reached the village just in time. Wearing the robes of an initiate of the Brotherhood of Steel, the villagers welcomed him with open arms, and a gift of a friendly brahim. Fed and watered, with a full flask and rations a-plenty, he then set out to seek the only place he knew he belonged to - the Brotherhood of Steel base.

WEAPONS: Before he was placed by the Enclave in an ideal spot to be discovered, he was equipped with a pair of pistols and an assault rifle with enough ammo to last him until he infiltrated The Brotherhood of Steel. Along his way he has also found a few frag grenades, and has bought the schematics to the bottlecap mine so has a couple of them on hand.

ITEMS: Powertech armour and dog tags with the name Michael Brown, and that he?s an initiate in the Brotherhood of Steel, cheap combat armour, a faded duster and a ten gallon hat.

PERKS/TRAITS/SKILLS:

Android-Weak to energy weapons and emps but when his body is put under stress his human self is suppressed and he turns into a mindless killing machine.

Muscle Memory- The mind forgets but the body doesn?t, he can only explain his skill with firearms from his time before he was a amnesiac.

Naive- He is easily cheated by merchants and those out to cheat him, however some people admire his good heartedness in the wasteland and are more likely to help him

TRANSPORTATION: He rides atop a brahmin he was given, but he will have to get off from time to time to help the brahmin get through treacherous terrain.

Added a bio.

Also can't but notice a lack of history or bio, is there a reason for that?

Uhhh, yes. That's one of the things I forgot and didn't realize until the second page with several profiles already submitted and more on the way. Then I realized that this didn't seem so bad as the profiles seemed to give me a good indicator on what you all were anyway. Furthermore, I DID specify that if I forgot anything or you wanted to add anything, do it. It more or less covers my ass and allows you some breathing room. Sorry about that.

Another NPC/character for someone who wants to join but can't come up with a good character.
Name: Morgan Bloom.
Race: Ghoul (Formerly Caucasian)
Age: Pre-war ghoul, but he won't give an exact number.
Apperance: Ghoulified, but very well dressed. (Top hat, monocle, walking cane, the whole shebang)

Weapons: Fighting is for the people he pays to do it for him. Do hired mercs count as a weapon?
Items: A sizable supply of caps, pre-war money, and whatever supplies are valuable at the time.
Transportation: A refurbished and armored limo that runs on microfusion cells, because walking is for peasants.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L. 4, 8, 4, 10, 8, 5, 9.
Tag skills: Barter, Speech, Leadership (Homebrew stat increases the effectiveness of followers)

Traits: Ghoul. Motivated buyer. (Each follower in your party improves prices you get through intimidation)
Perks: Ferocious Loyalty, Fortune Finder, Master Trader.

Bio: An old-money industrialist before the war, Morgan knew the nuclear war was coming and decided that hiding in a vault was not befitting of a man of his stature. Instead he planned to rule the wasteland through financial control. He reinforced his house so he could survive the initial exposure and stockpiled anything that would be valuable.
Flash forward to now.
Even if raiders cannot be bought off, the people who can shoot them can.

I've wanted a Fallout RP for the longest time. Guess I got to make a character now *grumble grumble*.
NAME: Tom Nevets/Steven Mot

AGE: 22

GENDER: Male

RACE: Human (white)

APPEARANCE: 5'11", blue hair and eyes, slight blue stubble, lean build.

PERSONALITY: It varies; he has multiply personality disorder. Some times he's Tom Nevets, an honest, kind, and other wise wonderful person. Other times he becomes the selfish, alcoholic, and violent prick that is Steven Mot. Regardless, both personalities love animals and dislike others shooting at them.

WEAPONS: AK-47 assault rifle, M9 handgun.

ITEMS: Leather vest and leggings reinforced with steel plates, about 1000 rounds of ammo, plenty of water and food, a hand full of stimpaks, 4 bottles of vodka (hidden in a secret compartment in their bag that only Steven knows about), sunglasses.

PERKS/TRAITS/SKILLS: Tom is an excellent mechanic, known to bring long trashed cars and radios back to life with only a little tinkering, and Steven is a remarkable cook, at least when he's sober.

TRANSPORTATION: Although they could get around in a car considering Toms gift with machinery, they prefer to get around on the back of large and docile mole rat named Bucky.

Another NPC/character for someone who can't make a good character of their own.
Name: Liberty Minor.
Race: Robot.
Age: 2.
Appearance: A miniaturized (Man-sized) Liberty Prime.
Weapons: Scaled-down Liberty Laser, Back mounted mini-nukes.
Other items: None at the moment.

Bio: After the destruction of the original LP, the Brotherhood decided rebuilding it would be too much trouble, and instead decided to copy its software into a scaled down prototype for mass production. During testing however, it ran off in search of "Communists".

Very interesting. But for future reference, Schizophrenics just hear voices. You're looking for Disassociative Personality Disorder, or Multiple Personality Disorder, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

Seems to be a few uhh crazy people in this outfit. I wonder if that's my doing or the wasteland's.

I'm interested in joining, but because I've not been in an RP thread before I'm not sure if I'd be able to keep up. I'll still make a character sheet for the hell of it to at least try.
NAME: Rufus "Rat Stock" Grates

AGE: 20

GENDER: Male

RACE: Human

APPEARANCE: A skinny, 5'10" white guy. He has shortish light brown hair and sideburns, a plain face, blue eyes and wears glasses. He is not very muscular, but can still pull some weight.

PERSONALITY: He is a fairly calm and happy person, and can be fairly pleasant to be around. He tends to pick up small parts and random bits of junk that he finds interesting when he has time to look while traveling. This combined with his looks is what earned him the nickname Rat Stock. He is also a bit crazy. When the moment doesn't call for him to be serious, his actions and words can be random and non-sensible at random moments that are hard to predict. He can also sometimes be caught talking to himself, almost as if there were some invisible person with him. When it comes to fighting he prefers to avoid direct combat if he can help it and stay on the sidelines.

WEAPONS: His main weapons include a home-made machete, a crowbar, and a .22 pistol. He also carries a low caliber rifle with a detachable scope that he only uses on rare occasions due to it being hard to get more than a clip or two of ammo for it.

ITEMS: His clothes are fairly simple. A pair of boots which have to be replaced every so often. A pair of gloves with the fingers cut off. Pants that have had a few extra pockets and pouches added for carrying the more important things like ammo, caps, and navigational tools. A plain t-shirt. He also wears a combat helmet and tactical vest with even more pouches on it. Other equipment includes a backpack and small satchel.

PERKS/TRAITS/SKILLS: Given the time and the right parts, he can make or repair all kinds of things. He could probably even rebuild a laser rifle and get it working if you gave him all of the parts. He's also pretty good at hacking computers, but there are some that are beyond his abilities. Due to his scavenger nature, he's also more likely to find useful items than most people.

TRANSPORTATION: Given that most vehicles were rendered useless by either the bombs or two hundred years of neglect, he walks just about everywhere just like everyone else.
God that took forever. Worth it though.

Looks like a bucket of fun. I've not taken part in forum RP antics for quite a while but the content on Escapist looks quite tempting!

NAME: Marlon van Graff.

AGE: 23.

GENDER: Male.

RACE: Human.

APPEARANCE: Tall and solidly built, with short and messy black hair. Wears an eyepatch over his right eye, a soveneir of a prior run in with the Brotherhood of Steel. Wears a suit of Van Graff combat armor, as well as a black leather vest over the top of it that bears the Van Graff Lion emblem on the back and a pair of fingerless black gloves. Generally has a cocky smirk in place.

PERSONALITY: One of the younger and lower ranked members of the Van Graff clan, Marlon is tasked with the unenviable task of heading east in search of potential markets and resources for the family. As expected of a Van Graff, he's unswervingly loyal to the family above all else and a shameless opportunist to the end, with maybe a little sadism on the side. As a rule he's generally pretty cocky, although if a situation starts to fall apart badly he'll have issues trying to keep it altogether and probably make mistakes. Long hours travelling can make a fella pretty bored, so he's no stranger to a wide range of vices, gambling being a personal favourite. Also HATES the Brotherhood of Steel.

WEAPONS: No self-respecting Van Graff would be caught dead without energy weapons. Granted, they're not quite as high class as the kind the Enclave tend to wheel out, but lasers are lasers and plasma is plasma and it's all plenty nasty. Plasma for preference, but lasers will do the job nicely and the ammo's easier to get hold of. Usually has a pistol of each variety as his favoured armaments, but also carries a laser rifle over his back in case things look to be getting hairy. He's also got a knife, but it's not generally used for combat as he's not fond of melees when he can shoot.

ITEMS: Beyond the aforementioned personal arms, Marlon's belongings include the usual sort of survival supplies, but among his more notable possessions are a deck of cards, a toolkit, a canteen with the Van Graff emblem and a badly damaged BoS helmet that he keeps as a trophy of a past encounter. If you were really desperate though, you could use it as a bucket! Kind of.

PERKS/TRAITS/SKILLS: Growing up as part of the Van Graff clan, Marlon has become very talented in the use of energy weapons and the odds of him getting through firefights are generally quite good. His primary talents outside of combat are of a mechanical nature, especially that of improvised repair and weapon maitenence. He's not a genius but he knows enough to get by. Not bad at intimidation either if push comes to shove.

TRANSPORTATION: Marlon's ride for his journey is a grey old world car, restored the only way the Van Graffs know how. That being that the old engine has been torn out and a new one built to run on improvised batteries powered by laser weapon energy cells. The trunk contains a couple of spare batteries and a device depleted batteries can be hooked into to slowly recharge. It'd be too inefficient to rely on solely though, so the batteries are often just topped up with fresh energy cells. There's a couple of energy weapons built into this contraption, because if there's one thing the Van Graffs don't do it's go anywhere unarmed. This takes the form of a pair of laser rifles mounted on the front. Ideally he'd like to fit it out with further weaponry, but the necessary gear to do so is hard to come by. The back seat is often used as a makeshift bed, the front passenger seat has a box for supplies on it and is where the laser rifle tends to rest while driving.

I do hope this suits your purposes.
