A song to wake up to.

Recently, I decided to change my alarm clock, as the shrill beeping of the old one made me want to tear my ears off. I decided to use my iPod's alarm feature. I started off by setting it to play the Final Fantasy 7 remastered boss fight tune (Still More Fighting) at 8 every morning. I thought I would wake up ready to take on the world. Instead, I woke up angry, confused, in a panic, and worried that I haven't saved.

For now I'm going to try using the Nico Nico Douga medley (orchestral version), but I don't think that will work very well either.

So here's the discussion: What alarm clock do use? Do you wake up with a song? What song do you use? How's it working for you? What would you recommend to use?

I have an Emerson Research, apparently. I use the default beeping, cause I hate music.

If I DID need to use a song, though, I'd imagine I'd use something invigorating, like this. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eDGD7kwsxM&feature=related]

Is it just me, or does the default beeping instill a sense of fear for anything of that noise?

I use the song Doubt and Trust by Access, I've got it on my phone which also has an alarm, so I use the song as the alarm tune.

I set the volume at full and trust me hearing that opening piano intro, at full blast is very effective plus awesome to wake up to.

My Alarm clock is my CD Player. Different song on the CD or if I set it to Radio.
Recently I've been using Mr. Blue Sky by ELectric Light Orchestra, although npothing beats a bit of Machine Head to wake you the fuck up.

I wake up to the "tear ears off beeping" because that's really the only sure way to make me get up out of bed, walk across my room, and slap at my alarm until it goes silent. At that point I'm already up, so yeah...

Though if you need a wake-up song...

I use Revolution Deathsquad by Dragonforce. Damn that song makes you feel ready to take on the world.

Remember: The first three notes are the most important. It's the difference between getting a heart attack or waking up calmly.

Yes! That's exactly why I'm changing it. I damn near have a stroke every time I hear it now.

If I did, it would be this song.

Best way to wake up!
best way to wake up if you never have hangovers. (which you don't *as you stated in the alcohol thread*)

Hell March from Red Alert. Makes a man out of anyone, and the great way to start the day if you plan on invading Russia.

Eh, a montage type song so I wake up punching the air jogging on the spot? Eye of the Tiger or something.
