I love waking up to metal.
Tell me that wouldn't shock your ass right out of bed.
I always like the start of metal songs but then someone starts singing and ruins it

I use Shake It by Metro Station. It's a good start to the day. :D

Obvious perhaps, but if you're going to wake up to something, may as well make it appropriate and quality.

I wake up to the Halo theme, mjolnir mix. Starts off slow and calm but eventually builds towards epicness. Best way to start the day.

Their album's actually really good. They're not a bad band at all.
Yeah I'm sure it is, but how am I supposed to take it seriously when this douche is a member and...

I just have some crappy ringtone on my phone because phone speakers ruin any good song and I don't have an iPod dock because I have a desktop PC with a HiFi rigged into to it but I tend to put on one song whilst still bleary eyed and drinking a cup of tea.

Good Times, Bad Times by Led Zeppelin.

Can you hear the fact that Trace is a douche or that Billy Ray Cyrus is his father through their music? No, no you can't.

I use the radio as my alarm, sure beats the beeping, that gives me a head ache.

If I had to pick one song, I'd go for this:

I wake up to Artificial Sun Projection by Scar Symmetry. I use songs that start calmly, and then preferably a good, gladly hard, metal riff.

Though, the best song I've ever woken up to was Whatever you like by Status Quo. Perhaps I was just in a good mood that way, I just felt like getting out of bed after hearing that song on the radio.

The thing about having a song as your alarm is that you are going to grow to hate it eventually, so really you want a song you like, but you wont be sick of any time soon. This has been my alarm for the past two years and it still does the job. I don't listen to the song much any more though :p I edited out the intro for my alarm though
