I hate the "pro life" mentality. I can't fathom that they think that pro-choice people like abortions.
They're horrible, awful, and no one wants them. Someone serious about being pro-choice would know the major psychological effects abortions have on people.
They are horrible and cruel, and no one should have to make that decision.
Of course, life is horrible and cruel, and loves to present people with terrifying choices to make.
I definitely have a question for you, Erana.
I've heard similar statements being made by many abortion-rights supporters, including our president. What I would absolutely love to hear is: Why? Why are abortions a bad thing? If the fetus is not indeed a living person, and has no more importance than an appendix, why in the world would it be a "horrible and cruel" decision to make? I came down with appendicitis years ago, couldn't wait to get that thing out of my body, and felt huge relief when it was out of me. I suffered no "psychological effects" because the thing didn't matter.
If fetuses don't matter (as they mustn't, else you would have to admit that it is killing a living human being), why on Earth do you still admit that abortion is a bad thing?
