People on the internet love to argue about irony, right? So riddle me this:
Pretend there is a song titled "Irony". The lyrics are completely devoid of any reference to irony and have no ironic content.
Is this ironic?

Well, yeah, both scenarios are different types of irony.

A song about irony, written by somebody who doesn't understand irony, is ironic.

As is a song written by somebody who does understand irony, but didn't include any for the lulz.

What I'm saying is that it's a paradox.
If it's ironic that the song doesn't mention irony when it's titled 'Irony', then that means the title is fitting, meaning it's not ironic. And so on.
