How about the people who post "Great review as always" 4 minutes after Yahtzee posts the video. HIS VIDS ARE LIKE 8 MINUTES LONG!! HOW CAN YOU JUDGE IT AFTER 4 MINUTES!!!! Even if they watch it the SECOND it launches they'll only be able to watch 4 minutes!
And if you listen to Yahtzee you would only own Portal, Painkiller and play 5 minutes of Fallout 3.

Öh, not all his reviews are negative. He has to say something negative about every game, but that's not a bad thing unless he's reviewing the holy grail, or something like that. Many people these days mistake criticism for a bad thing. It is not a bad thing that Yz criticizes every game, because what's good about a game you can hear from everybody else in the world.
Of course there are games he verably tears into pieces, but as far as I played these games it was absolutely deserved.

And I would also assume they're simply faking it and being silly... but the ammount of them that exist, they do seem to honestly believe that ZP is gospel...
From my perspective, I really don't take any review seriously. I mainly watch ZP for the sharp, witty, and creative humor. Now, I've played a couple of games that he unleashed his horrible, game-critic wrath upon (Borderlands, Phantom Hourglass, Brawl) and I thought they were okay in my own eyes. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and it shouldn't be swayed by what some game reviewers say.
Yahtzee's a critic, not a reviewer.
I respect him as such, but he is hardly my go-to source for info on the quality of a game.

Hell, I enjoy ZP immensely and do look forward to the new episode. I also take it with as big a pinch of salt as any other review - I don't think a review has ever made me buy a single game, or decide not to. Oddly enough my decisions are made on my own opinion and things like having a go on a shop console or playing a demo.
I never take anything he says seriously. It's in good fun, and I never let someone else make decisions for me on what games I buy. I'll try it myself, and if I don't like it, I don't buy it. I do think Yahtzee has a point in a lot of examples, but the exaggerations are what makes his videos fun to watch.
Um yeah, but not all the ZP watchers seem to take his reviews seriously, I'm talking to that sub-section that does. ZP has valid points, all his negetive criticism is generally honest proper criticism. However, thats all he focuses on, it's funny, and judging a purchase on a one sided review designed to poke holes into a game is just... silly.
