Lost Odyssey is special. Such a work of art that so few people will ever know about.
Streets of Rage 1 and 2 were epic back in the day and, to be honest, still are today. Way ahead of its time. The Halo's all have amazing soundtracks as well. Every single game!

Interesting, I would have thought someone would mention it by now; Chrono Cross has the best soundtrack there is. I just downloaded it again because my actual discs got stolen a little while back.

Of course I'll vouch for the sheer awesomeness that is Metal Gear Solid (Harry Gregson-Williams is brilliant) and BlazBlue/Guilty Gear.

Secret of Evermore has great music. The very first soundtrack of the great Jeremy Soule, made at the tender age of 19.
