British, by far. Or whatever British is, hard to say with all those thousands of different sub-category British accents you have there.

If a woman speaks with an irish (Oirsh jeje), russian or english accent, I will be irrevocably in love with her. (Ok, yeah... I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea.)

What do you guys think about the Brazilian accent?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueKvVP86Sn0

Would you guys be able to identify it or would you think the person was from somewhere else? Does it sound like any other accents you know?

Pretty much any European accent on a lady is enough to get me going...

But i'm particularly fond of Slavic / Russian accents on girls. It just sounds so... Grrr!

OT, I like the Irish Accent, and the American accent, being French myself I love hearing French people speak English as well.

You just blew my mind, AND, I should probably get a tinfoil hat. I came in here just thinking "well, I bet nobody says 'American'."

That said, now that I'm interested, you talking a western, southern, Brooklyn or LA accent?

I'm not sure I really have one, the sound of the voice is certainly the most important, but their are three British, French, and Russian that I tend to like the best, dunno why, forgotten memories or something absorbed some where I don't recall.

This thread was done a week or two ago [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.177597-Which-accents-are-the-most-and-least-attractive-to-hear-the-English-language-spoken-in?page=1]

as well as

a couple of months ago [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.177597-Which-accents-are-the-most-and-least-attractive-to-hear-the-English-language-spoken-in?page=1].

In fact I just typed in 'sexy accents' to the 'Search The Escapist' bar, & guess what? There are over 20 matches asking exactly the same, & that's just in the first two of over fifty pages. Exciting!

Welsh, Irish or Scottish, depending on how heavy they are. Amy Pond in Dr. Who and Gwen Cooper from Torchwood are pretty good reference points for Scot and Welsh accents.

I don't really have any one specific accent that turns me on the most. Every time I settle on one I hear a voice with a different accent that just strokes me the right way. Though there are two accents that never succeed in this, and those are French and Russian accents. They just irritate me.

And yes, there is a difference between Russian and German.

I have discussed it with a few people now and I have come to the conclusion that everyone has at LEAST one accent they find irresistible. My girlfriend for example likes the Scottish, where as I like the Welsh accent (Hint to any Welsh girls :p) so which accents do you like? (I would add a poll but there are far too many options)
First person I've seen who likes the Welsh accent. North or south?

Anyway, probably Australian. It just flows well.
