Accents you find attractive

I genuinely don't care. Accent doesn't matter, as long as the fine woman is saying stuff I like, heh.

Right now, a "Would you like to catch some tea sometime?" from a woman's mouth would be like heaven... Being single after a long relationship sucks! >_>

Personally, I don't really have a particular accent I find attractive. Maybe French. I'm not a great fan of North American accents in general though, those are way down on my scale (no offence to any wonderful ladies from there. Or guys, I suppose).

In general, a german accent is just about the sexiest voice I can think of.
Of course, a girl who has managed to eradicate absolutely every trace of any accent she had can be dead sexy, too. My current girlfriend has that going, although her voice in general is rather unsexy. (Sad, but true)

I find a light-medium British accent incredbly sexy. Dont know why. Just do.

A light-medium British accent? Bit generic!!... Given the four countries in the UK all sound massively different. I like an "American" accent, a gruff to medium one...

I suppose england then. One where you can tell they are english but still understand it.

Still you are talking a bunch of different dialects there and they all sound different.

OT, I like the Irish Accent, and the American accent, being French myself I love hearing French people speak English as well.

You just blew my mind, AND, I should probably get a tinfoil hat. I came in here just thinking "well, I bet nobody says 'American'."

That said, now that I'm interested, you talking a western, southern, Brooklyn or LA accent?

I'll admit the deep south doesn't appeal much, caricature's of accents I dislike as well, like you know in Hollywood film the Brooklyn tough guy accent gets on my tits. But most accents are nice.

To anyone who said English, are you talking cockney's? Scouser's? or Geordie's?

Ever since Dragon Age: Origins, I've had a thing for french accents, can't think why.

Not the thick, outrageous Monty Python accent, I'm talking about the softer version, and only on certain girls.

I don't have a personal favorite, but there are a few I dislike. I don't like the sound of the English accent at all or the American redneck accent; through the southern gentlemen sounding one is okay.

So tell me if I am right about this; all the people that live on the British isles are British but not all of them are English, right?

Big fan of most European accents (like that Marina Orlova lass on youtube), whatever accent it is that Tara Strong has, and what Grey DeLisle used for Azula on Avatar the Last Airbender.

In terms of male accents, IE ones I wish I had, lets just say if cloning technology is viable I'm getting a vocal chord transplant from either Christopher Lee or Keith David.

A sweet Southern belle accent makes things interesting, until we get into too-thick hillbilly accent territory. Still, a soft-spoken girl from Louisiana would have me wrapped around her middle finger in a minute.
An English accent is a lovely thing, but there are a few dialects that, for me, stand above the rest. It's just a damn shame I don't know which is which.
The French language has this curious and charming quirk where the end of a sentence ends on an up-turned note, unlike the American where the pitch goes down as the sentence goes on. A pretty French voice speaking English with a thick French dialect is to die for.
And then there's the far East. Vietnamese and Japanese are particularly adorable, especially when they go all to pieces when you so suddenly tell them how cute they are.

Love the Scottish accent, any girl with a Scottish accent has my attention straight away...however undesirable that may be.

Failing that then Italian, but that is also to the mannerisms of how Italians speak (lots of hand movement) as well as a great accent.

I have discussed it with a few people now and I have come to the conclusion that everyone has at LEAST one accent they find irresistible. My girlfriend for example likes the Scottish, where as I like the Welsh accent (Hint to any Welsh girls ) so which accents do you like? (I would add a poll but there are far too many options)

First person I've seen who likes the Welsh accent. North or south?

Anyway, probably Australian. It just flows well.

South, I don't know why it's just really attractive

While I do like accents, I don't really have any accents that I specifically find attractive. For me, it is more to do with the tone voice a guy has, not their accent.
