Okay, so I couldn't make things move with my mind after watching Matilda as a kid. But I tried. God I tried.

I thought that Portal 2 would just be a cheap cash-in on the success of the first, with little to no effort exerted on the story or dialogue.

Boy, was I wrong.

I was wrong about COD: Black Ops, I kept telling everyone, "it'll be good, Treyarch was great with their previous titles." But I was wrong....

I'll admit. I had thought that Rebbecca Mayes Muses was the worst show to ever be on the Escapist. Jimquisition has changed that for me.
You probably never saw game dogs.
OT: I thought that the hitman movies where good, until I replay Blood money.
BTW:Why the hell did the sword fight?
Sure haven't and from the sounds of it I'm better off?

I was wrong about Magic: The Gathering being lame and for comparing it to Yu-Gi-Oh. It's a fun game and my newest hobby. And Magic is nothing like Yu-Gi-Oh because it's actually fun.

Three-for-one! One funny, two serious.

I thought Revenge of the Fallen might not be as bad as the first Transformers movie. movie. I was right! It was so much worse.

I thought love was enough. Turns out, it's not. Relationships require work, like anything else of value.

I thought transgender people were emotionally or mentally damaged somehow. I've since come to understand the concept of gender much better.

I just kind of assume I'm wrong about everything, so not much here.

I first watched the film End of Evangelion without having seen the series first. I thought that though it had some totally brilliant scenes, as a whole, it wasn't very well constructed. I thought maybe I just didn't have proper context.
I was wrong. I watched and became a huge fan of the series, then sat down to watch End of Evangelion again. Turns out, my first impressions were totally right.

I thought I had some good cheese to snack on with crackers in the refrigerator.
I was wrong. Turns out, mold has a very refined pallet.

I thought I'd eventually come to appreciate the humor and perhaps some of the affection of the ponies. I was wrong, they're still creeping me out.

I've been wrong many times and will probably be wrong many times more. I can't think of anything now though, except I never thought I would become a bronie.
aye, i second this me matey.

as for me, i kinda walk into everything assuming im wrong. kinda serves me well in school since i usually am at least 40% wrong.

unfortunately this also goes hand in hand with my belief that there is a right answer, so on impossible math problems, i ALWAYS get stuck and waste a bunch of time.

You are not alone my friend. I feel your pain.

I thought I work hard. Turns out I was coasting on natural intelligence and luck. I really need to pull my finger out!

I (like, I assume, most of you) assumed after watching Twilight that everyone involved was shit. After watching some of Robert Pattinson's non-Twilight movies, I realize that he's not that bad an actor. Given a good script, I think he could turn out a pretty good performance. Also, a mutual friend tells me that he's a really cool guy, and we'd probably be good friends IRL.

Kristen Stewart is still garbage though. She's never given a good performance, EVER.
Actually... this is pretty much the opposite for me.

I thought he could be a good actor outside twilight, but he's never wow-ed me.

Though stewart was pretty good good in a few movies.

The Runaways
Adventureland
and of course Into the Wild.

Pfft...Everyone knows Taylor Lautner is the best actor in the series. Shark Boy ftw!

well clearly. The only reason neither of us mentioned him was his awesomeness would cause our posts to implode and our minds to melt in his shark boy glory. XD

But seriously? I was wrong in thinking I could actually come up with a witty reply to this thread.

No, no. You were right about that one.
I think there are a couple of male fans who would disagree.
OT: I thought I was done with pokemon games after silver. *Looks at diamond, soul silver, and white* Nope, apparently not.
But they're a negligible proportion of the actual audience, so they can be passed off as mentally abnormal and they're therefore invalid statistics.
Bullshit. All statistics are valid. Also, loads of men watch the new MLP series. Including me.

OT: I used to think Oblivion was the pinnacle of sandbox gaming.
