Name: Skilagnon

Race: Elf

Class: Fighter

Age: 117

Appearance: Skilganon wears simple cloths, plain yet practical. The only piece of fine clothing he wears is a wolfskin coyac (like an armless overcoat). or armour, he wears a Great Harness, the body armour favoured by his family. It is both thick enough to delfect most attacks, while light enough to allow freedom of movement. Each part of it can be donned individually,(eg you can wear the arm-guards without the body-armour)

Weapons: A pair of swords that have been passed down his family, called the Swords of Night and Day, one made of a golden metal, the other of stell and black laquer. They are rumoured to be magical, increasing both the weilders deadly skills, and their desire to use them

Personality: Skilganon feared the blades as a child, worrying that their curse might be true, but after he was given them, his fear quicklygrew less, and his calm nature slowly disapeared into a near continuousstate of thinnly covered anger. Sometimes, when e is aware of this, he is able to hold it in check, but there are times when the Blades' compulsions are too strong, and he lashes out with wordof sword. He wears an aura of restrained violence like a cloak

Bio/History: Skilganon comes from family of swordsmasters, all of whom have inherited the Swords, quickly mastered the skills of the blade, then died young (at least by Elf standards)
When his father died in battle at a mere 250, he inherited the Swords himself. As soon as he was given them, he found his already considerable skills, honed from hundreds of years of training and practise, even more expanded.
hat was when he waonly 52. Now, 55 years later, he has taken part inmore than his fair share of violence, both in brawls and radom fights, and also in skirmshes arcross the land

*Points at TTT* He said I could! :p

I'm here to detract from all your badassery, with a little... er... chickenry.

Name: Paldo Kempkin

Race: Oktra

Class: Saboteur

Age: 20

Appearance:
Following the traits of his race, Paldo is, well? small, to say the least. He stands at approximately 3'4", though his bodily proportions fit him- he looks simply like a human child, with more 'matured' features. His head is covered by a mop of curly brown hair, which twists around his ears and over his slightly thick eyebrows that often sit high above his small nose. Paldo?s eyes are a curious colour, since his races' differ from the typical hues that others do. Instead, his are like a bright, golden honey, which are usually cheerful. His skin is lightly tanned from spending many days high in the trees or laying in the sunlight that peeked through the forest.

As for clothes, he has no armour. He wears a small brown vest over a white shirt, where the baggy sleeves are just a bit too large for him, having the habit of slipping past his wrists when not tied tightly. His pants are a matching brown that are tucked into a nice, well-made pair of leather boots. Around his waist is a belt- which is also a little on the larger side, leaving a fair bit of the end of the belt strip hanging loose. The sheath for his knife is attached to this belt, as is a small black velvet pouch full of rune stones and chalk, and another pouch with an assortment of nuts.*

*[sub]These nuts contain little to no relevance, except for the fact that they contain a good amount of nutritious proteins.[/sub]

Weapons:

A small- but sharp- knife is always tucked away at the left hip of Paldo?s belt. It appears to be a simple household tool, but of very fine make; from the smooth, dark wooden handle, to the bright and long steel blade, this knife shows no sign of breaking from good use. It is held in a black leather sheath which he made himself (and even stitched his initials on! How neat!)
Though it would be nice to say such a nice knife was a gift given by generations of strong warriors, who fought and died bravely on the battlefields? It actually just happens to be a simple kitchen knife that he picked up from his home before departing on his journey.

It is, however, very good for cutting apples!

He also carries a number of various rune stones (each about the size of a peanut) and some chalk, which can be used for location spells, such as summoning, teleporting, among other uses. In battle, they're a little useless, since they take a bit of time to use.

Personality:

Paldo has been smacked- a lot- by his fellow Oktra, usually do to his overly curious and incessantly annoying nature. Well, not exactly annoying? Just a bit over the top. He doesn't believe in 'a need-to-know basis' for anything, and will bend over backwards to snoop and spy his way to uncovering any secret. As a result, his 'saboteur' class is well-fitted; his small stature is perfect for sneaking about, and spying on others has become his foremost talent.

His second-most talent is cooking!

Though he seems little annoying, [sub](to those with carrots up their backsides)[/sub] Paldo is actually a rather sweet person. Since he is such a nosy individual, he makes it his personal mission to be a 'confessional' to other individuals when they become sad or stressed. He?s not bad at keeping secrets, but during interrogation, he? doesn?t hold up very well.
Despite his flaws, and a general lack of badassery, Paldo is able to overcome his obstacles during trying times, and can prove to be a very courageous and loyal friend.

Bio/History:

Paldo was born and raised in one of the small villages of the forests, hidden completely from the outside world. It was a quiet and personal place, where the Oktra relied on one another for everything- food, clothing, and most of all, parties.

His community was a cheery one, with a closeness that made each other feel like family. Celebrations were common, where the trainees and students of magic could display what they had learned through visual arts, such as amusing illusions, and as the humans called them, fireworks. Since Paldo was the son of a chef and not so great at the magical arts, he usually spent the celebrations helping in the kitchen and watching the party.

At the age of fifteen, what seemed to be an honest forest fire appeared near the village in the early morning. Several members of the village died within the flames, which weren?t doused for a number of hours- many of the magicians who had been demonstrating their skills in a party the night previous were still inebriated and unable to focus. In an attempt to help, Paldo began grabbing buckets of soapy water from dishwashing and spraying it onto the fire.
It seemed to have little effect: after all, how much damage could a few buckets of water do?

The answer? A lot. Motivated to protect his fellow Oktra who had already perished, one of the buckets within his hand began to spray a constant stream of water toward the blaze, knocking Paldo off his feet. Within the hour, the fire had been extinguished, leaving the majority of the village unharmed.

After questioning the suspicious bucket, the older magic users came to the conclusion that Paldo had managed, in a state of panic, to harness his inner magic and create a strong teleportation portal within the bucket, connecting to the nearby river (which had seemed to have lowered a few inches by the next day). In an attempt to teach Paldo magic by having him learn from stressful situations, he was sent to roam Dresha to harness his own skill and learn by experience.

During these five years of learning, a lot of body hair has been burnt away. He is getting better at lighting fires, but they tend to claim his eyebrows regardless of how careful he is.

Comic relief FTW!

That's quite good :D and it will come in helpful to break up all the sheer hatred we may encounter <.<

Hell yeah! If you have ever read the Dark Elf Trilogy (or any of the other RA salvotore Drizzt based books) then this odd "halfling" reminds me of a certain Hobbit.

Cool, well I'm planning on posting the OP at about 10 GMT, but if you've not posted it by then just stick it in a spoiler with your opening post.

In all fairness, I don't know how good a RP'er you are, but I'm willing to give you a chance, so please don't disappoint me.

Haha, take your time. I'm just a sort of impatient person. ;p I've got homework to do in the meantime anyway!
