age and post count don't match up ?

Have you ever joined a website only to not touch the forums for some ungoddly amount of time. then for some reason or another join the forums ? See i tend to either ignore the forums or forget they are thier for various websites ,like this one, and by the time i join in on the fourmy action their are people far "younger" then me with post counts in the 1000's so i was wondering if it has happend to anyone else.

Edit: take a look at my profile for an example. sbeen here since aug of 2009 but not even 100 posts. another example would have to be my onemanga account

Yes, I can think of a few right now who have been here a short while yet have many posts.

I joined and just lurked up until about a month ago, so my post count per days been here isn't really all that high, but I'm bringing it up.

I didn't bother making an account on this forum until 3 weeks ago, but i've been lurking for well over a year. In any case, I don't pay attention to people's post count or the time that they have spent here, unless the two combined indicate that someone spends WAY too much time posting on these forums.

Addendum; I apologize. You appear to have meant profile age, I thought you meant real age. But I think if someone has above 1k posts per year, or two years, it fits quite nicely. Those who have 10k post counts per year or two seem to be a little too active.

Indigo Dingo was a good example of this. When you make almost 100 posts every day, you'll probably end up getting banned.

Just kidding, but there are two ways of getting hella lot of post counts. Flailing posts around, or discussing a lot on threads. Replies 'n' stuff. So, it's hard to tell really.
