Tell that to the PC sitting front of my couch. Oh yeah, burn.Logan Westbrook said:"Some games are more suited for the intimacy of the PC, and others are best played from the couch in front of a larger TV screen," said a Microsoft spokesperson.
I'd be very surprised if FPS games ever leave the PC. But I see your point to a degree. There may be a time when only the most famous franchises only reach the PC.Xrysthos said:I don't own any consoles other than the PC, so it's a little sad. Not that Alan Wake is a game I was dying to play, it's just that I see a new trend here to fight videogame piracy, and I fear that soon more and more developers will leave the PC in favour of Xbox and PS3. Sooner or later PC gamers will be left with MMO's, and all the other games will be made for consoles. It's sad, but I guess there's a point to it.
Terramax said:It was Xbox exclusive from the start. I don't know why this is considered news now. It is annoying though, as I loved the Max Payne series and it'll be a cold day in hell before I own a 360.
And if they genuinely don't care?SantoUno said:Oh well, the 360 will finally have another exclusive, let's hope it's good.
Oh, and most PC gamers will certainly say "Oh, not on PC? Well fuck that game!!!" But secretly they wish they could play it.
It's really childish really, people who wish they could play an exclusive game that's not on their console bash it and pretend they don't care.

I can't honestly think of anything Microsoft quarantined onto the 360 that I actually cared about, or was even good. Fable 2? Halo 3? Are you kidding me? If that's the "quality" and "experience" that Microsoft wants to keep on the console, then I don't see what the fuss is. The fact that Microsoft feels that it'd be "best played on the couch" and that it's not a game "intimate" (they're words) for the PC probably means "yeah...we dropped the ball and this game will only be liked by consoletards that just don't know better.jasoncyrus said:Douchebags have been abandoning the pc for ages, ever since fable 2. Hope microsoft staff all perish in a fiery ball of death for this.
Even Microsoft can't denny what shit Vista was and how underwhelming and pointless Games for Windows still is. But let's do like MIcrosoft and forget Vista ever happened.DarkSaber said:Ironic when you consider Micosoft were pimping Alan Wake as a reason people should upgrade to Vista and DirectX 10.

It's been said many a time before. What gets posted in the News section IS NOT INFLUENCED BY THE FORUMS. A lot of people don't read all the forums, if any, and get their news from the main site. Stop pointing it out.
