The album I am listening to the most right now is the Volbeat album Beyond Hell/ Above Heaven, just go listen to either 16 dollars, Evelyn, or Heaven nor Hell. Those songs are just amazing.

Other than that I would pretty much any Iron Maiden album.

Rainbow - Rising

For the youngins, Rainbow was one of the earlier (yet, the most famous next to Black Sabbath) bands that held the great Ronnie James Dio. The album also holds the song "Stargazer", which happens to be the greatest song of all time - according to the most reliable source on Earth, me.

If you don't know who Dio is, think that a "Black Sabbath" is some sort of sexual position, or if the only stargazer you ever heard of is that little snot from Mass Effect 3, then I don't think I should be talking to you - for your protection, of course.

My list, comprised of albums I didn't see during my cursory sweep of this thread:
The Flaming Lips: Yoshimi Battles the pink robots
Arcade Fire: The Suburbs
Oingo Boingo: Dead Man's Party
Rush: Clockwork Angels
I'd add more, but I understand the stipulation of not mentioning too many albums by one artist, and the minimum song limit. Otherwise Hemispheres would be on here too, and probably either Grace Under Pressure or A Farewell to Kings.
Rush's albums are always good from start to finish!

also WHy no Weird Al?

Fleetwood Mac: Rumours

The apotheosis of '70s-era music, in my opinion. For me, there's not a single skippable song on that album, and I can't say that about any other album I've ever listened to, in any genre, from any time period, including other Fleetwood Mac albums.

I can't really say I don't like anything by Two Door Cinema Club...

Hedningarna's third album, Trä.

Every song is raw and complex, each has a different tone, and they all flow together thematically to create a cycle of life, death, and rebirth.

It's been my favorite album for 10 years.

Okay, here goes nothing. Keep in mind this list is hyper subjective.

In no particular order, just as I thought them up.

The Who - Quadrophenia
The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
Led Zeppelin - IV
Muse - Absolution
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral, The Fragile
Blur - Blur
Nirvana - Nevermind
Massive Attack - Mezzazine

Fellow Escapists! Some damn good music here. Most of the albums that come to mind have already been listed.

Couldn't see this one though.

And this one is a personal favorite

Besides my favorite that happen to be classics like Frampton Comes Alive, Who's Next, anything by The Cars, pretty much Everything by The Beatles; Franz Ferdinand's first two albums are incredibly good, while they do have a couple of songs that kind of don't hold up to the rest of the album, all of the songs are still really good.

But then there's Tonight, and for whatever reason, I....Cannot.....Stop.....Listening.....To it!

I don't know what it is, but every time I feel like listening to an album it's "Hmmmm, I think I'll listen to this album again!"

The thing is, I thought it was their weakest album the first time I listened to it, but, now, it's almost all I ever want to listen to sometimes.

One of these days, they'll have their next album.....eventually!

(Dammit guys, hurry up!)

Album One or Live at the Globe of Yesterday's Tomorrow (the live version of Album One) By Steam Powered Giraffe.

Don't know how I could have forgotten that one. Their music is awesome, but their performances are spine tingling.
