Gunstar Red/Blue - Any level from the game would work just fine, but the 3YE base is a good one (from Gunstar Super Heroes)

Ratchet and Clank - Planet Koros

Such a huge hit, I think it's the #1 PS3 title? Not sure. Ratchet and Clank are awesome, though, and I feel they deserve to be on the list.

Smoker - No Mercy rooftops

L4D's a huge hit, and currently has the #1 spot for sales on STEAM. The smoker is my favorite baddie, and I feel he's the least overpowered of the bunch. If I was playing a L4D fighting game, I would pick the Smoker.

Goemon - Sasuke's Tree

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon is often in the top 5 for best N64 games, and he's just such a loveable character. We haven't seen any ports since Mystical Ninja because it wasn't received well e nough in the U.S.
It might be a cheap substitute, but what if you could do the same thing Pokemon Trainer did in Brawl and had three special zombies to choose from? The special move makes you the Tank for a limited time or something...
Beat me to it. What I'm thinking, though, is get rid of the boomer (how would that even work?) and put in a nerfed tank in his place. That way, you get 3 different play styles out of it:Smoker for long range, hunter for speed, Tank for melee.
Maybe... if the environmental hazards on top of Mercy involved the actual zombies that could work just as well. Like if you went the Tank for the whole match, and occassionally hunters and smokers would incapacitate players who'd have to shake the control stick until they were freed. And maybe Boomers could just wander about, but if you shoot them they explode and hurl players off-screen?

Playing the Tank might lead to unbalance though... Perhaps random respawn is the best idea since it'd be a kinda homage to Valve's spawn system...

You didn't really just say Kirby was the first to use an enemy ability, did you? I mean, unless 1992 (Kirby's first appearance) comes before 1987 (Mega Man's first appearance), in which case I need to wake the hell up. I'm just saying.
Alright, if you want to be a smart ass. I never played the Megaman games so I don't know, I just know Kirby is old!

So I will say Kirby is the first to eat his enemy's or did Yoshi come before Kirby? Yep, Yoshi is 1991. Which only makes Kirby the first vacuum, thats gotta count for something!

Any chance of getting this guy in there?

<<( minus the track suit)

I've always imagined the Prince would be a good edition to brawl, as you can have some very intresting effects with the time traveling powers, even if they only work on him for balancing issues.

EDIT: Thought i might as well put in the controls, as I'm sad like that.

B-Dagger stab, each stab only causes a little damage but it charges your rewind ability (you only have 3 sand tanks)

B Slide-Jump straight over enemy and slash from behind.

B Down-Start drinking from a fountain of water that appears, recharges your health 25%. However, it takes 4 seconds, if hit in that time it'll cause critical damage.

B Up-Rewind. The prince goes back in time, allowing him to recover damage or stop a fall from taking place (unlike in the sands of time trilogy, this doesn't work on the other characters, if hit while rewinding the prince takes critcal damage. You must also have collected sand by using the stab power)

Special Brawl ball...thing-Time slows and the prince becomes twice as fast. He is able to flit from enemy to enemy causing a frenzy of damage.

SUPER EDIT!: Oh, level would be the Tower of Dawn, complete with falling platforms, the Hour Glass, and randomly spawning sandmonsters that are killed in one hit.

I've always liked Casino Night zone so far as Sonic goes.

To actually add something to the list: Pacman. I guess the level would have to be a maze of some sort.

I would say Jak from Jak 3 because he is awesome and it's one of my favorite games. Although I'm not really sure if he is a major character though. His stage could be the Arena in Spargus City.

Another one could be Ryu from Street Fighter and whatever his stage is.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQOvDD8NIEc Maybe this can provide some characters...

Ooh! What about Sackboy? His stage could be The Gardens or The Pod and LittleBigPlanet is a major and revolutionary game.

EDIT: Forgot to say final smashes. Jak - Dark Jak, Ryu - I have no idea, Sackboy - Popit Cursor (hurl people at walls and throw items at them).

I demand Rodney be added. (From ROGUE, of course.)

You cannot say ROGUE didn't impact the gaming world; it spawned the roguelike genre and pretty much introduced computerized dungeon-crawling into the mainstream.

His stage could be a randomly generated ROGUE dungeon (hear me out), except instead of being in the dungeon, the fight takes place on top of the dungeon. So you would see the whole dungeon on the screen, and... this is hard to explain...

Basically, the floor of the combat stage would be the topmost walls in the dungeon. And the whole stage would be textured with ASCII characters.

I'm thinking Alucard from castlevania symphony of the night. His level could be the top of the clocktower. Castlevania left enough of an imprint on gaming right?

If we're gonna do Castlevania, I think we should go for the original Castlevania guy, if only because he's... the original and stuff.

The Test subject from portal. Her level can be the last one with glados in the background.
And also either one of the Team Fortress 2 characters.

this guy.

Final smash= BFG
He's already on the list, do try and check.
I can imagine his super smash would be pretty awesome.

Suddenly the whole match becomes old 3D, you look though his eyes, and all the characters become old. Like Mario becomes his old self, Prince of Persia becomes the origanal kid in white ect...

Kirby was the first character to have the limitless ability to fly, if you don't count Shmups.
Thankyou Dingo, limitless ability to fly with out a vehicle or magic of some sort and he is a vacuum. Therefore I conclude that Kirby should be more than eligible to be apart of this special Smash Brothers game.

Wait, are we limiting ourselves to commercial games only?

If not, I nominate Balrog from Cave Story. The list needs some indie, and Cave Story is the quintessential "indie" game...
