The witcher, it was just dull.

Fable 2, it was too broken. After dealing with all the glitches I just never wanted to put it on again.

Gears of War.

I couldn't even last the 1st level, it just seemed so cliched & boring, like lots of games I've played before but without the fun element.

Assassins creed, loved it at first but then I had to do the same mundane activities over and over again *sigh*

Probably F.E.A.R. It took me about an hour before I realised that the game was just going to keep throwing the same predictable combination of scare/firefight/atmosphere/firefight/scare/firefight at me over and over.

Assassin's Creed was probably faster, actually. When you get bored about five minutes after the tutorial segment of the game, you know it's bad.

I'll admit, the first act especially (not the prologue) is kind of boring, but it gets significantly better as it goes on. They kind of just drop you into this huge world full of lore and backstory without giving you any of it initially. You have to read books, journal entries, etc. in order to really make sense of it.

GTA IV (played it for three days and never touched it again) and Far Cry 2(played it for about 3 hours. Very boring game). Probably the most boring games of the year.

I tend to keep playing things even if I'm bored:

A Link to the Past - I was bored from the start, but I still played to the last dungeon.
Half-Life 2 - I tried... I really did try, it was brilliant at the start but it bottled out and began to feel like a chore.
Some Shitty Disney Skateboarding game - Do I need to say anything?
Wii Play & Sport - Ditto above.
Forza 2 - Boring and I didn't even bother to try and get better at it.
Assassin's Creed - I have the patience of a saint, but I couldn't take this... past the 3rd assassination... Jeez, I really do have a lot of patience don't I? o_o
Perfect Dark: Zero - *Snore*

Spore. After I was able to evolve my little race of spiked ill-tempered sum-bitches from bacteria to supreme rulers of the planet and a large chunk of space in a disappointingly abrupt amount of time, I just lost interest.

I strangely got bored of Bioshock after 2 hours.
That doesn't seem strange to me. I got bored around then too. Played through most of the rest and just couldn't bring myself to waste anymore time on it. Had a friend who loved it explain what I missed by not finishing.

Dark Sector. I borrowed it from a friend, got to the point where you can guide the blade and watch it cut people in twain, and I was bored as hell. I'm just glad I didn't pay for it. Only reason it's still on my shelf is because my friend wouldn't take it back.

I lasted until some underground level in Gear of War before falling asleep at the keyboard.

More then I can say about Assasin's Creed which was god awful IMO.

GTA4

I played around 30-50% of it and I was furiously bored with it since I always did the same thing. I just didn't care about Niko or anyone else, and when I found out that I still had 20 more freakin' hours to complete I just got frustrated and havn't touched it since.

Fable II just isn't new, and isn't improving on anything. It feels like I've played it all before and for longer.
Same here, I played it for two hours and got bored of it. Admittedly I was interested at first due to the fact that me, my friend and my dog looked pretty cool as a travelling trio. The effect quickly wore off and I was left bored.

The Force Unleashed. Bought it, got it home, got bored within 10 minutes, cracked it in ~10 or 11 hours with all the cut scenes, put it down and will probably never pick it up again. I knew it was crap when I bought it but damn.

Lair: I didn't mind the controls too much, and the plot kept me interested through one playthrough, but it wasn't good enough for a second.

Kane and Lynch: Pretty much the same as Lair, except with an ending that sets up a sequel that nobody who finished it will buy.

Mercenaries 1&2: I took down the first ace in the first game, saw that there was no new ground to explore, and haven't played it since. With the sequel I finished the oil company missions, found out I needed to turn against them to advance the story, and will be returning it go Gamefly today.

Bioshock: I've only played the demo and I'm already bored with it.

GTA4: If it weren't for the online play I probably would have sold this by now.

GTA4, Fable 2 - Finished the story, then burned everything i could find, and realised i had done everything.. 'open world', my arse.

Sup-com - About 3 battles in when i realised i'd need a day for each damn one.
