I bought mirror's edge last saturday, and at first I was amazed, it was such a fun game, but after beating it once, I don't want to play it again, not even for achievements. What was the quickest amount of time a game got boring for you?

Some racing game on the PC didn't hold my interest for even one race. And this race was 11 laps on a short track.

Mercenaries 2. Couldn't even play it for one day.
Please, tell me your name is sarcasm, or an ironic statement.
It would actually be pretty cool if it was.

Altered Beast for the Genesis. The first level was so awesome... until I realized that levels 2-5 were reskinned versions of level 1.

LOTR: The Third Age.
Bought it on a friend's reccomendation, but turn based combat and RPG levelling quickly got repetitive.
Never played on it since...

Little Big Planet - raced through the game on the first play, nothing amazed me.
The editor didn't interest me either.

Fable II just isn't new, and isn't improving on anything. It feels like I've played it all before and for longer.

Armored Core 4. It looked like fun, untill I started playing. Played that game for maybe 15 minutes before never touching it again.

Amazing graphics, pretty looking car design settings and vast amounts of mechanical business,
but the actual driving is pretty dull.

I'd add Ninety Nine Nights to the list. And Devil May Cry 4.

Fable 2 for me. Finished the story in short gaming periods across 3 days, never played it again afterwards. Not for achievements, not for new quests, not for a new character either. When I finished I thought to myself"There is just absolutely nothing here stimulating me to continue playing.

Although I did recently check how much money I got after not playing it for that long.

Tortuga: Pirates of the New World
Loaded it, started it, thought "Hang on, This is just Port Royale" & deleted it.

As much as I really do love Doom 3, everytime I get to the monorail level, I just save and say 'well thats good for today, I'll get back to it later' and I never do. The progress will stand still until weeks late I just decide to uninstall it.....Month or two later, the cycle will repeat itself.
