wait... one step back... fallout3 had like 5 DLC packs... it'd make sense when we have fallout3 GOTY, but Vegas GOTY? it had like what? 1 DLC? and the game were buggy! even today? why?
I think this is my biggest problem with the "End of the Year" edition of F:NV. What content is there to include? I'm gonna pass of the bugs/good game arguments because they don't interest me. I look for GOTY editions to get the original game plus all the DLC at a reduced price. I'm playing a copy of F3:GOTY right now I got for $12.75(*) new. Whatever you thought of F3, it met my requirements: original game plus five DLC. Look for it on sale and you have a real bargain if you have to patience to wait to play a game until later. My game budget dictates I have patience. I can't wait to buy Portal 2 at Steam's Christmas sale this year. But F:NV:GOTY just makes no sense: original game plus one DLC plus maybe some more DLC that no one has seen yet? Maybe the Amazon listing was for internal purposes? It just seems a little early to toot the GOTY horn for a game that hasn't finished it's apparent initial run.
(*) Really, $12.75. At Target. Turns out, when you mail order a PC game off of the Target web site and then return it to a store unopened they will give you a full refund. However, it appears that Target doesn't really want PC games on it's shelves unless they bring them in themselves. They do generally have a small PC games selection. The game was labelled "Internet Return" and was marked down 75%. Visit their games section and look for the red tags!
