This is mostly for closure, because me and dad have been racking our brains around this for a while and can't think of anyone. Allow me to explain.

My dad has an idea for a movie, WWII, called "It's Always Been All About the Money" (Working Title).

Basically we just have characters, and we're going to make the story from that. There are five so far.

Ed Asner we think would be perfect for the billionaire... That's pretty much it, that's his personality, his drive, everything. He wants a bunch of patents, I don't know, it's all Dad's thing. He wants to know about all their experiments, he wants all the money, all the credit, none of the work. He wants all the files brought in, in tact, and he doesn't want to have to do anything, or pay anyone to do anything more than bare minimum.

Stephen Colbert as the millionaire protegee. He wants to be the man in charge, and he doesn't care what he has to do. He's not really working against the billionaire though, he's actually doing what the billionaire wants, using all the connections he can, and being the frontman.

Pierce Brosnan was someone a person brought up. Dad says he'd be good for the British soldier who the protegee uses. He's right high ranking, bribable, knows Churchill too. A bit pushed to the outside, jealousy, or lost command, or something (I'm getting this all as dad talks).

Woddy Allen may be the closest thing to "good" guy, or at least, the main character. He's the billionaire's secretary of 50 years. He wants all the right things done, he wants the Jews freed and he wants the war over, but it's not happening. We basically get things told through his perspective, I think.

And then there's the character we don't have an actor for. He's the guy who, it doesn't matter what rank he is, he commands everyone, he can be a bloody private, he just waves his gun at people like he's bored of the war. He has a personality that's just entitled to be in control, or as dad says it "He's the kinda guy that would go into the restaurant and order something, and not be expecting a bill. And they wouldn't give him a bill either." Not really intimidating in look, or personality. Intimidating in a way that's just oh-so nonchalant. He yells at nobody, he just dominates.

Who can play that last guy. Oh, and opinions. I'm sure dad'll find some interesting viewpoints here.

Chuck Norris? I know, old joke but the first thing to come to mind when I read that description was a Chuck Norris joke...other than that. What about Ron L. Ermey? I wouldn't want to argue with him? I mean, have you ever watched Mail Call? He doesn't need to yell.

Liam Neeson could play that role... then there's Denzel Washington. Leonardo DiCaprio could play it fairly well, then there is...

... Nathan Fillion could play it as would Bruce Willis. And last, but not least, I think Bruce Campbell could pull it off.

Dad says Ron L. Ermey is a better choice, but he plays structured military, and the guy we're looking for isn't fighting for his country or anything. He's getting a billionaire what he wants on the frontlines. He's the only man that can do it.

(I don't know who Ron Ermey is, but that's dad's say)

Dad said Ron could play a thorn in the billionaire's side. He also says the story will have something to do with the 100 Spitfires that weren't at the Battle of the Bulge.

Wait, you don't know who R. Lee Ermey is? Just click this link and be enlightened young grasshopper. (He's the Drill Instructor...this scene always makes me laugh.)
Oh, he does say a couple of offensive things here and there...by that I mean a lot. It's not for innocent ears.

One question... is this billionaire after the hidden Nazi Projects as well? Such as the Sun Gun?

Just curious.

Dad says no, he's looking for things that'll make money after the war.

But he could hold the world ransom for... One Million Dollars~! Which back then is a lot.

Anyways, sounds good. Just wasn't sure if you guys were aiming for that or not.

And I have one more suggestion to play the part if you're not settled on Ron L. Ermey: Michael Gross.

Liam Neeson: Dad says he's too recent, and he cares too much. He likes Liam, but just off by inches.

Denzel: Same thing for Denzel as Samuel. Both are pretty much on the money, but it's 1944-45. Just might hurt the history, I think is it.

DiCaprio: He's the kind of smart that dad wants, but not scary or fierce enough. DiCaprio isn't quite enough of a "man's man". He's someone who you could tell to get out of the way, even if he didn't.

Bruce Willis: Too stereotyped for the role. Dad said he'd feel bad about having him play this kind of person again.

We don't know Nathan Fillion or Bruce Campbell. Fillion looks like what we want, but we'll have to get a clip of his acting or something. He said Bruce Campbell looked a bit too happy.

Dad says Johnny could probably do it because he could totally change his character to fit that. He doesn't necessarily have any criticisms for Depp.

Dad says he wants the guy from No Country For Old Men. Javier Bardem. I'll still take suggestions.
