I think people aren't bothered enough to fall into a repetitive routine doing things that aren't exactly fun. That, along with the belief that they would have to keep exercising and exercising and exercising just to maintain their physique tends to turn people away. We can't forget about the notion of "instant results". Some people expect to be ripped, fit and sexy almost overnight. When that doesn't happen, they give up. Now, I can't judge them because I don't exercise either. Honestly, with all the stress I'm going through with my classes, realizing "Fuck, I forgot to run my daily mile" probably wouldn't do me much good. But, when I think about it, people assume I work out regularly because of my body type. So, it wouldn't take too much working out to improve myself overall. At least, I think so. I could be wrong. Now, I could start running every other day to get myself used to it, so it becomes second nature. Sadly, every time that moment comes, I lose motivation. It sucks, because lately I've been feeling kinda shitty just staying home and going through a routine of eat, sleep, study, internet, TV, rinse and repeat. Who knows, maybe some light exercise is exactly what I need.
